Harold cleared his throat, breaking the silence..

"I have something for you.."
He said quietly, reaching into his pocket and pulling out a medium-sized box, which surprised Anisha.

"How did this fit into your pocket???"
Anisha asked, genuinely surprised.

Harold couldn't help but smile at her surprised face, though he tried to hide it.
He then took out a small Teal colored mana stone from his pocket and showed it to Anisha.

"Um, this mana stone has a shape shifting power."

"Wow, I didn’t know that!"
Anisha exclaimed, leaning in closer to Harold's hand to examine the mana stone. Harold found her curiosity endearing, a hint of a smile tugging at his lips as he watched her inspect it.

"I got this as a gift from the Grand Duke at my coming of age. It can be used as shape shifting things and storage purposes."
He looked at her expressions while continuing the story.
"This small part of the stone i use as a storage and the bigger part of the mana stone is attached in my sword. So, i can change the size of my sword anytime i want."

Anisha heard it in awe.
She remembered the first time she saw Harold (This timeline) in Verita House, talking to her father. That time he was carrying a very big sword, that's why she thought him as a missionary. And because of that big sword, she didn’t recognize him.

"You also got a mana stone from the Grand Duke, didn't you?"
Harold asked looking at her.

"Hmmm.."
She replied standing straight, after long time bending down a little and looking at the mana stone in harold's hand.

"Did you found it's uses? I mean your mana stone's speciality."
Harold asked.
Hearing that Anisha looked at Harold with questioning eyes.

Harold smiled a little,
"Well, you have to discover that on your own. The Duke won't ever tell. You have to uncover the unique charm of your mana stone yourself."

"Huh?
Wow, thanks.."
Anisha said gratefully, though she also looked troubled. It had been a year since she received the mana stone, yet she had no idea it held hidden powers. She sighed softly.

Harold suppressed a smile as he watched her reactions, taking a deep breath to compose himself.

Then Anisha's eyes drifted to the box Harold was holding. Seeing her gaze fixed on it, Harold moved the box closer to her.

"It's a small gift, from me."
He said softly, smiling a little.

His smile was so infectious that for a moment, Anisha forgot to breathe.

Regaining her composure, she quickly accepted the box, thanking him. Then she glanced at him, silently asking if she could open it, and received an encouraging smile from Harold. With eager anticipation, she lifted the lid.

Inside the well crafted wooden box, she was amazed to find two small, slightly curved daggers with small oval-shaped silver crystals in the middle.
The crystals shimmered softly in the moonlight, casting a gentle glow on Anisha's face as she lifted them delicately from the box.

The daggers were exquisitely crafted, their blades reflecting the faint light from the garden, while the handles were adorned with intricate engravings of vines and flowers.

Anisha turned the daggers in her hands, feeling their weight and balance, marveling at their craftsmanship. They felt smooth and cool to the touch, a testament to the skill of the artisan who had created them. As she examined them closer, she noticed tiny runes etched along the blades, faintly glowing with a subtle magic that seemed to pulse with life.

"They're beautiful ~"
Anisha whispered, her voice filled with awe.

Harold nodded,
"They are artifacts I got my hands on near the Border Runes a few years ago.'"

Anisha's eyebrows lifted in surprise!

"Why are you giving me this? They're so valuable!"
Anisha exclaimed, her voice a mix of gratitude and bewilderment.

She wondered why he would choose to gift such a valuable item to her instead of keeping it for himself or presenting it to the Emperor to earn favor. Because people usually do that.

Harold smiled gently, his eyes meeting hers with sincerity.
"Because they suit you."

He paused a little, then continued,
"I've seen how adept you are with the bow and arrow and now made them your main weapon, so I thought these daggers would be more practical for you to carry around than a sword. Besides, as an artifact, they have a boomerang effect, no matter where you throw them, they'll always return to you, It's owner."

[Wow, he talked a lot]

Anisha's eyes widened with astonishment as Harold explained the significance of the daggers. She listened intently, absorbing the details about their artifact nature and the unique boomerang effect, as well as how they recognized their owner. Harold had been their previous owner, but now, having willingly gifted them to Anisha, she was their new rightful owner.

Then she was about to protest again, but Harold anticipated her concern.

"I have no use for them myself. I prefer swords."
He added simply.

Anisha glanced down at the daggers in her hands, marveling once more at their craftsmanship and the thoughtfulness behind Harold's gift. She was deeply touched by his gesture, feeling a warm appreciation for his understanding of her evolving skills and his kindness in offering her such a valuable artifact.

"Thank you, Harold....."
She murmured, her voice filled with genuine gratitude.

Harold only gave a soft smile to her, without saying anything.

They stood there for a moment, the quiet understanding between them deepening beneath the starlit sky..
