05 years passed by, and things went pretty downhill in Belgium, or, in reality, the whole Europe. Hitler's power rose, and another world war was to be started. This would bring an unlucky fate for the Belgian royals...

It was a normal day in St Johns Berchmans College in Brussels. The kindergarten students were in the playground, scampering about.

Her Royal Highness, Princess Elisabeth Therese Marie Helene of Belgium, fourth child of King Leopold III of Belgium and Astrid of Sweden, Queen of Belgium

Little Elisabeth's eyes gazed at the playground where the children were playing. She raced towards it, wanting to try out the slide, but witnessed the height of the slide and it's distance from the ground. She was petrified, but seeing the grumpy line ushering her to take her turn, she looked down and slid on the slippery surface while squealing, as the other kids rolled their eyes.

Elisabeth ended up stumbling onto the concrete ground and bruised her left knee. Tears streamed down her cheeks as she stood still on a corner, crying, as all the children left her crying and unnoticed.

Ever since Elisabeth was 3, she feared facing heights without the supervision of her parents or a helpful adult, or, even her siblings.

----

Elisabeth: Lyle, could I take my turn on the swing this time?

Lyle: No! You should've gone at first. Now, leave me alone Elisabeth! *swings harder*

Elisabeth: Oh....okay... sorry Lyle.

A few minutes later, Lyle leaves. Elisabeth jumps in and starts to swing until a few minutes later Helga, her ' friend ' comes.

Ever since Elisabeth joined St Johns Berchmans, Helga was her closest friend for about a year. Helping, assisting, as well as playing with her. Elisabeth's even made friendship bracelets for them. Helga wasn't as much as close with Elisabeth as she was with the other classmates, but Elisabeth's warm hearted and loves to adore those who she thought were exceptional.

Elisabeth: *Sees Helga* Helga! Do you want to swing with me? The other seat is free!

A dead silence followed with her words. Silence has always sent chills down Elisabeth's back.

Helga: Ummm......uh... Lyle and some of my friends wanted to play willows in the wind...so uh, sorry!

Elisabeth: Oh. Ok.

She saw Helga with the other girls. Lyle looked at Helga's bracelet and started to badmouth about it. Helga, without hesitation, threw the bracelet far away.

Elisabeth was heartbroken. A few minutes later, Helga comes to Elisabeth's side of the swing.

Helga: Um...

Elisabeth: Where's your bracelet, Helga?

Helga: Yeah, about that.....I actually kind of lost it while playing with Lyle and her friends....*bell rings* Oh, we have to go for art class! *Runs away*

Elisabeth: Ah.....Indeed..... Helga the traitor! * Gets of the swing and follows the crowd * *thinks* Why does it look like everyone turned their backs on me?! What did I do wrong? I am a kind and considerate little princess who was always obedient and patient....
