A MONTH LATER:

Nanzhu swiftly took over his father's company and the handover was smooth as butter. No troubles and no bullshitting around. His married life with Lin Lin was also sailing smoothly. For a change, Lin didn't want to go back into acting. Now that Nanzhu was back, he decided to resume his career as Nanzhu's personal assistant along with Chen Fei who now worked for Nanzhu.

Under Chen Fei's guidance, Lin Lin quickly grasped the matters about the company and proved himself worthy of standing next to his handsome, talented husband.

After the morning meetings had been dealt with, Lin came to Nanzhu's office with some herbal tea for his husband. Nanzhu had been speaking non-stop for 3 hours and its a given when he said he felt as if he was being choked.

"Thank you, baby." Nanzhu purred like a cat, but it didn't take long for Lin to become a blushing mess. Nanzhu smiled like an evil fox and called Chen Fei in, who looked like he had enough of dog food for the day.

Both the boss and assistant were evil and shameless. He didn't mind though, because he was cared for by both of them and on top was paid twice of what he was been paid before.

"I need to spend some time with my wife. Can I request you to postpone everything for the afternoon to evening and unless it's a do or die matter, don't disturb me, hm?" And Chen Fei quickly nodded like a spring doll and ran out of the door.

"What are you doing?" Lin asked his naughty husband who was dragging him to the inside room where Nanzhu stayed if he had to stay back.

The room was well equipped with an instant cooker for cooking noodles or a quick porridge. There were two showers, with one having both a toilet and a bathtub. There was also a king sized bed in the middle of the room.

As soon as they went inside, Lin heard the 'click' sound of the door being locked. But it was too late now. He could only go along with his clingy husband's antics. He loved all of them and that was another thing.

Soon Nanzhu pushed Lin on the bed and started taking off his tie while maintaining eye contact with Lin, he untied his sleeve buttons and rolled them up. At last he undid the first two buttons of the shirt making is prominent collarbone and the star tattoo visible. Lin Qiushi gulped down looking at his sexy husband.

Nanzhu, of course, noticed this slight movement of Qiushi's adam's apple bobbing up and down and smiled. He literally crawled up to Qiushi's chest and then lied down with his head on Qiushi and his arm around his waist. Qiushi's body relaxed realising Nanzhu might have only wanted to rest and he did.

"Did you think I would do anything to you here in the office? As much as I would love you to mess up my whole office, I still am very possessive of everything I own. I would want to kill anyone who would dare to see you in that condition. You understand, right?" Nanzhu said with a deep voice enough for Qiushi to know he was being serious.

"Hm, I know. At first, I really thought you-- You know I can't say no to you. As much as I would love to as you said, 'make a mess of your office', I don't really want to do that. I might as well build up a separate office for you in our garage. Nobody would come there or disturb us. Just you and me." Qiushi said while playing with Nanzhu's fingers.

"Alright, rest now." He said while rubbing his husband's back.

Unknown to the Lin, his husband and their brothers now had all the evidences of the accusations made, the fraud happening and the people behind all of it. Which was exactly why Nanzhu was relaxing right now. Because he had a big surprise for everyone during the evening dinner party organised in the honour of welcoming the new CEO of the company.

He slowly raised his head and looked at the man who was sleeping so peacefully. He lightly placed a kiss on his chin and then went back to sleep.
