the party
BACK IN THE REAL WORLD, i was always down for a party. There'd never be a weekend where you wouldn't see me and Riku partying like there was no tomorrow. Despite all the work we done, we somehow managed to find time to let loose.
You could also say we were pretty heavy drinkers— who isn't these days?
Knowing this, you could imagine my surprise when I awoke to music blasting through my room. The sound of cheering and out-right happiness seemed like a foreign concept to me. You don't really get a lot of that with the games going on.
Nevertheless, after having a few hours rest, I was up and definitely ready to party. This sort of thing might not happen again, and what type of person would I be to pass up the opportunity.
I rose from my bed, limping due to my leg but at this moment I didn't care. Once I was drunk, all this pain and stress would be gone— whether it was only for a night.
Looking through my wardrobe, I remembered Aguni telling me that I could wear militant clothes and not ones that were revealing.
His words were probably right, as I knew there would be a lot of— let's say hungry men— looking for any girl they can prey on.
I thought for another moment, then decided on an outfit.

Seeing an atmosphere like this, you wouldn't suspect we were living in a world where playing games decided whether you live or die.
The music boomed through the beach, along with many disco lights flying across the place like a wild animal. It seemed that every beach citizen was out partying as there wasn't a place which was empty.
The outside pool was crazy, to say the least, and the indoor party-room was filled to the brim with people. The clothing ranged from dresses, to nice shirts and shorts, to bikinis and swim shorts, to literally nothing.
To say I was surprised, would be an understatement.
I rolled my eyes at a couple practically fucking on a couch. "People really have no shame." I looked around and was able to spot Arisu and Usagi stood together.
I made my way up to them. Arisu noticed me and was the first to say something. "Asuka." His eyes travelled from my face to my body, and I noticed he went a little red. "You look—erm, nice."
I laughed when he quickly averted his eyes. Anyone could see that Arisu was a respectful man, which is why I took a liking to him. And he is really smart and useful for the games.
"I try." I joked, and looked to Usagi whose eyebrows were furrowed— probably from Arisu's comment. "Don't worry, Usagi. He's all yours."
Truly, I wasn't even remotely interested in Arisu like that. There was no doubt he was good looking, and he definitely had the brains to grab a lot of girls, but he didn't stand out to me.
She looked at me confused, then glanced at Arisu, then back to me with a slight blush on her face. "I don't know what you mean."
I grinned. "Sure you don't, sweetheart." I winked at her and pointed to the bar. "I'm heading off. You guys want anything?"
The pair shook their heads, and with that, I walked off towards the bar. From knowing the two for a few days, you'd be blind if you couldn't see the slight tension between them.
Arisu was a shy man, and was unable to hide his feelings for someone when he had them. Usagi is a bit better at that, although there are some things she does which proves my point.
