I WAS walking my way down in the parking lot, tired, haggard and drained. My class already ended peacefully, though, our teachers gave us slew of works to do when we reach our way home which just only added to my lists of what I need to do and to rush before my other assignments and projects reach its deadlines.
Yet, I'm not complaining, of course. I shouldn't. This is what I chose. Therefore, I must not file any of my complaints to the people who are giving me too much works in school. It's understandable. What I'll face next year is much worse than what I'm having through right now. This is just a test, a glimpse of my disaster next year because of the course that I'll be taking.
Silently sighing, I turned on the engine of my vehicle. I didn't even notice that I was already in my car, due to the thoughts that I keep on entertaining in my mind that made me space out a little.
After a while, I drove my way to a fast food chain to just order what I need to eat and to feed the monster inside my stomach, the reason why it was growling. Also, I'm already too tired to cook my dinner for tonight. Medyo lutang pa nga ako dahil wala akong tulog nitong mga nakaraang gabi because of my projects and presentations that I need to present in front of the class.
Not to boast but yes, it was just an easy peasy for me to be honest because I study. Yet, it's still sometimes too much the reason why most of the time, I need to forget how to sleep for a while and befriend the dearest liquid that helps me to stay awake just like the other students. Coffee.
When I reached my condo, I immediately took a shower. After that, I changed and then ate my food dahil marami pa akong kailangang gawin. Seems like I'll again need to forget how to sleep.
Pero, hindi pa nga ako nangangalahati sa pagkain ay may tumawag naman sa akin. It unfortunately made me stop eating so I could entertain the caller. "What?"
[Mahal kong bestfriend! Hellooooooo!!] A very girly voice greeted my ears. I honestly just barely heard her voice because of the loud sound that I could hear on her background.
My eyebrows furrowed, "Evrilia?"
[Yes, yes! My dearest and favorite bestfriend! Hellooooo!!] She said, obviously drunk.
"Did you drink again, Evi?" I asked and drank the soft drink beside my food.
['Di ah, gagi!] She giggled. [Ano lang, shot shot lang, Vier, nukaba!] I shook my head.
"Yeah, right. Where are you?" I asked, massaging my head because it was slightly throbbing.
"Where are you, Evrilia?" I asked again.
[Dito sa..] Sagot niya sa kung saang mamahalin at sosyaling bar iyon and I immediately drove my way there, leaving my foods inside my condo.
I ROAMED my eyes as the heavy ambiance and the very loud music of the bar greeted me. I searched for Evi's presence, though a lot of people could really be seen. Of course, what would you expect? This is a bar. Many wanted to get wasted or find something interesting in here. Though, for me, I doubt it. There's nothing fun and interesting inside this place.
I sometimes go in a place like this, but not literally in here. I go to a different bar wherein there's no much people that keeps disturbing me.
