Sean McVay's Big World

Chapter 3

"Vernonika, theres no way that I will keep this watermelon under my shirt for dinner with Mathew. I can feel it slipping off my body as we speak," Sean said as he ignored the call. Vernonika ran to their door, while he waddled toward her. They closed it and then ran toward the bathroom to check it out. Sean gets to the door, waited on his wife to get there, and then waddled in with Vernonika right behind him. She closed it and has her husband lift up his shirt. As he lifted up his shirt, there was around circle around Sean's bellybutton. He started freaking out as Vernonika tried to figure what to do. She decided not to do anything, tapped the watermellon back in place, and they both walked out of the bathroom. "Are you still wanting to drive?" Vernonika asked as the journey to their bedroom began. Sean was very silent as he waddled ahead of her. She ran in front of him and closed the door. He opens the door and walks toward his closet. "Where are you meeting Mathew at?" Vernonika asked, breaking the silence. Sean thought about it as his phone started ringing. He excuses himself and walks out of their room to take this call. "So where do you want to meet for dinner?" Sean asked after answering. Vernonika was standing right behind him, recording. He takes a long deep breath ans took a long pause. "Where would you like to go?" Sean asked. Silence broke again. Vernonika walks beside him and waits for the answer back from Mathew. They both walked toward the coach then sits down. Sean was starting to wonder if his buddy was okay or not. "Do you want fast food or a sit down restaurant?" Mathew asked breaking the silence. Sean looks at Veronika. She just shrugged and waited for a moment. He rolled his eyes and then turns on the TV. "We can do fast food since we got a game tomorrow if you want," Sean said breaking the silence for the second time. Vernonika had a great big smile on her face after that response. "I guess we can do Burger King if your okay with it," Mathew said. Sean turns off the TV, turns his phone on speaker, and tries to get up from the couch. Vernonika just stood there and starts laughing. Sean gives her an evil eye and she started helping. He finally gets up from the couch then they started heading toward the vehicle. "Oh coach,you are not going to look like you pregnant at dinner,right?" Mathew said. Sean got in the car then turns it on. Vernonika gets in and looks at her husband." Well according to my wife, I am going to be there looking like it whether you like it or not," Sean said as he started heading towards Burger King. Vernonika turns on the radio. "Well no offense coach, but you were the laughing stock at practice today," Mathew said. He stops a stoplight and then turned his wife to his wife. Sean was like that for a good few minutes. "Did you hear what he just said?" He asked. Vernonika shakes her head as the light turned green. Sean started driving again as his wife started putting make-up on her face with the camera still recording. She picks up the camera before joining in the  conversation. They were almost to Burger King before anyone started talking again . Vernonika didn't know what to do. Sean pulls into the parking lot and parks his vehicle.He turns his body toward her and stared.  "Mathew said that I was the laughing stock at practice because of this!" Sean said lifting up his shirt and points at his watermelon baby. He let's go of his shirt. The call ended as he throw his phone in the back seat. "Well I saw every husband doing it online doing it so I thought you should do it too," Veronika said as Mathew pulled into the parking lot. Sean turns the vehicle and looked at his wife. "I hope you enjoy it some more because I am done after this," He said as he got out of the vehicle.

                                                                         
                                                                          Mathew walks toward Sean and tries to hug him the best way possible. "Are you ready to talk strategy for our game tomorrow?" He asked with a smile on his face not trying to hurt himself with a watermelon strapped to his stomach. Mathew didn't know what to say so they continued walking toward the door with Sean right behind him. Vernonika went in first and opened it for Sean. Mathew followed behind them. Just as they got in line to order, where came Tom Brady and his coach, bill right behind them. Sean turns around, sees them, and then tries to hide. "Well well well, isn't Coach Sean McVay with his family," Tom said. The group of three  gets out of line, walks toward them then starts a starring contest.
