A/N: the banner on the side is Oliver's sis. Excuse the mistakes.
I ran my hand through my hair as I look around for a seat. I sit near an old couple so maybe a girl won't pester me on my sister's big day. An old couple would probably do the trick. I looked around and saw a girl talking angrily with her a women that looked sad while talking. The girl didn't seem too happy either. Since I was two rows back from her and on her left I could see her look my direction but not right at me.
That's when I saw it. Her beautiful, deep grey eyes  small face was pale with a soft pink staining her cheeks probably due to her frustration . Her lips were wavering until they stopped. She fixed a scowl on her face still looking away from her, supposed, mom. She still looked like a goddess. I gawked at her hair that fell perfectly around her face as if it were mahogany and it was framing a beautiful piece of artwork known as her face.
She looked to the stage and her face instantly lightened. She must've had a sibling she looked up to as well. Then she looked down and smiled.
I almost fainted right then and there. she displayed a bright white smile with brackets lining each one, and her eyes lit up, and a perfect dimple appeared on her left cheek.
Then, I knew, I HAD to meet this girl. I looked for an empty space next to her, and then I thought the gods were on my side today because a family decided to move.
I sprung out of my seat and ran to plop into the empty seat next to her. I waved my mum over as well.
If that family was planning on sitting where my mom and I were currently they would have to let go of two people because I was NOT moving.
I tried getting the girls attention subtlety so I wouldn't get her mums attention as well.
She bobbed her head while humming a familiar tune. I noticed the earphones. The way her hair swayed had me swoon. I tried to focus on the music though. Don't tell me. I let out a small whimper, which, thank goodness got nobody's attention and pondered.
Was this gorgeous mystery girl really listening to Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons? I tapped her arm. I tapped it four more times until she finally looked at me. She looked at me and took out one of her earbuds. Her eyebrows rose as if to say 'What do you want?'
I cleared my throat.
"Excuse me but I noticed you are listening to Frankie Valli & the Four Seasons' "Big Girls Don't Cry"." I told her.
Her eyebrows shot up and her lips parted.
" You listen to them too?" She asked with a grin spreading across her face.
"Yeah! Who doesn't?" I asked a little too enthusiastically.
Her grin faded slightly.
" No one listens to them..." she said with a sigh.
I face palmed, mentally though. She was right no one listened to them, they were totally underrated, especially since they have their own show in Las Vegas, you'd think they would be a little more popular.
"Thats okay though," she began to say, "it makes it like a wonderful secret I can keep. Like it is special and only for me. See I'd rather it be no one knows about it and it is quality music than it be popular and it end up sucking like most music nowadays." She said while looking at the ground and then looking up to see my reaction.
She bit her lip trying not to laugh at my probably ridiculous face.
Even though it wasn't for the reason I was hoping for that small lip bite was the most hot thing I've ever seen a girl do.
"Those were probably some of the wisest word I've ever heard someone say."
"It's like some soft, fluffy whipped cream you just want to eat it all up!" I said trying to make an analogy.
"I disagree, I truly have something against whipped cream it is just so gross!" She said while scrunching up her cute pixie nose.
"Wait, you're telling me you don't like whipped cream?" I said white a questioning squeal.
She then got real close to my face with a determined look on her face.
"I've never ever not retched at the sight and taste of that putrid sugar combination."
I tried to subtlety sniff whatever that blissful scent was when she got close to me.
It was a mixture of a soft mint from her breath and a perfect combination of a fruity yet vanillin scent from her hair. Yet best of all was her cream soda with lavender accents. it all swirled together into a perfect combination of a blissful scent.
I then got back to the matter at hand.
" You obviously haven't once heard of my moms famous home made whipped cream. You'd be a soulless dark demon with no taste buds to say that my moms whipped cream wasn't the best thing that's ever touched your tongue."
" Heh, I won't knock it till I try it!" She she giggled, flashing a sincere smile.
My heart fluttered and I was so focused on this sincerely beautiful mystery girl, I almost forgot about my sister. I looked up and saw my sister looking around for, supposedly my mom and I.
I tried to wave frantically and she finally saw me. she got her best friend, Kaitlyn,'s attention and she waved back. "You have a sibling too, I'm guessing!" She smiled.
"Yeah, she's the most accomplished girl I know."
"My brother is the same," her eyes glinted, I'm glad I got to meet a guy like you. My name is Katherine, but you can call me Kat." she said.
SCORE! Got her name! My heart was doing flops. I tried to compose myself.
"My name is Oliver," I said but then thought about what Kat said. "What do you mean 'a guy
like me'? I asked with curiosity in my voice and a grin spreading on my face.
"Oh.. Well.. I mean," she stammered. "he really is different..." I heard her mutter under her breath.
" HMMMMMM?" There was all signs of me getting REALLY cocky.
" You know guys that seem like they can choose any girl from the crowd, make out with her and then throw on the ground and she would still give her heart to him...." she said quietly.
I was extremely confused.
" You mean," I started, my grin turning sly, "you think IM hot?" I said with confidence.
"No," she scoffed, "I think you could end up having a thick skull and end up hitting on me like every other guy I meet, I THOUGHT you were different and would be a great friend and we actually had something in common but I guess not you're just like all the rest just trying to shove words into my mouth and make me convinced that I like you even though your state is far from that. I was trying to give you a FRIENDLY compliment but I guess not." She practically hissed at me. I saw tears welling in the corners of infuriated eyes. I could tell she never got to have a friend that was a boy they would all just end up hitting on her.
And then it hit me. I fucked up, REAL bad.
