I decided to wear a black high - waisted pleated skirt with a loose grey sweater with a tank top underneath. I got out my black, flat ankle boots and tugged on my burgundy beanie of course. I shook my hair and spritzed some perfume on.
Now I was ready for the graduation. I grabbed my iPod and walked casually to my mom who was drying her soaked hair.
"Are you ready Mum?" I asked knowing the answer.
"No, go eat some food darling the graduation is going to be awhile." She rummaged through her cabinets looking for possibly a hair dryer.
I turned on my heels and went downstairs to eat something. I ended up with some banana and maple and brown sugar oatmeal.

I was going down the highway at 60 miles per hour with Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons flooding my brain with sweet harmonies and lyrics.
Finally we pulled into a crowded parking area. As we struggled to find any spot we funnel at found one and parked. I slowly got out of the car and looked around. I was looking for David. I hadn't seen him for a whole week for I was competing in a Krypto competition. He was also celebrating with his friends about graduating high school as I sulk.
A high pitched whistle interrupted my sweet melodies. I checked to see who it was.
No. It can't be him. I haven't talked to him for two months now and he definitely was not going to bother me now.
Him: you thinking about me?? ;)
Me: screw you I haven't thought of you since we broke up and I'm not going to start now!
I thought about my text to him. What did I have to say? I wanted to get the point across that I really despised him and I didn't want to talk to him ever again.
I finally found a seat where I could be next to my mom.
" Elmer wants us back by 3:00 so we can go to a party with him with his friend Ricardo." My mom stated.
I had a mini tantrum where I kicked my feet in disapproval and whined loudly while scrunching up my face. I wasn't a spoiled child, but when it came to being with my stepdad and even worse - his friend - I was a mega brat.
" Ricardo doesn't even have any kids and his house smells like feces! Can I please just sit this one out?" I whined with anger tears springing in my eyes.
"No, please do Elmer this one favor?" My mom asked with pleading eyes.
I decided nor to agree or disagree.
"Most of the time you spoil him more than me!" I muttered under my breath.
"What was that?" my mom butted in annoyingly.
"Nothing..." I set a nasty scowl on my face as I looked up and scanned the stage for any sign of my brothers distinct brown hair. Instantly, my face lightened up and softened as I saw him and a girl talking while he ran his hand through his hair.
He REALLY like this one. I just felt it this time.
