He woke up.

His vision, blurry and somehow obstructed - by bandages, it seems - showed him a rather familiar sight. He has been here quite a few times already, but not under such conditions. And without entourage, most importantly.

A door. With a label "CEO".

Isn't that... Kinda bad right now?

"Mei, you sure that this is a good idea?"

"Of course, why not? She invited him to play, right? Surely she won't mind if we keep them company?"

Kiana, looking rather spent and dejected, even, looked to the side. Adam, who felt his soul slowly corroding away, felt a tug under his shoulder and winced, barely standing straight, balancing with the help of a rather tight embrace from Mei. He was being dragged like a statue: his arms, torso and legs cast. Arms and legs were obvious, since they were broken, but why the rest of his body?

Did she try to restrain him like that?

Strangely, his... Pelvis was not cast.

He would rather prefer it if it was at this point.

Mei, smiling creepily, appeared in his field of vision.
"Don't worry, I'll knock for you, since you are so tied up at the moment, my poor Adam."

Her sense of humor worsened, too. It was his job to give off these jokes, but his throat couldn't produce a coherent sound, his tongue barely responsive, too.

Did they drug him?

Actually, they probably did.

Otherwise the feat of standing and being held by his arm would not be possible without him passing out.

A few gentle knocks were heard and Adam unconsciously held his breath, trying to hear what was behind the door. Well, he knew who was there, he just didn't want her to answer.

And then... Nothing happened.

A minute passed, and they still stood outside in tensed silence, each hoping for different outcomes.

"She can't hear you. Probably." - exasperatedly, said Kiana and pulled her phone out, briefly typing a message to their friend. If they were seriously going to do that, she wouldn't want to prolong it any more.

"Good grief, she's waiting for a man and can't even..." - Mei rolled her eyes and sighed, watching her friend type and then gasped, - "Wait, Kiana, no, we'll use his pho~"

She couldn't finish the sentence, as the door shifted to the side, revealing the owner of the office with a pretty confused look on her face. Kiana pocketed the phone away and looked at the owner, too.

"How... Indecent." - the only thing Kiana could say. Truth be told, some of their old battlesuits were pretty revealing, but this one... Rubbed her the wrong way. The implications behind her wearing that were pretty obvious, too.

Not really wanting to, Kiana checked Mei's look. Yep.

Bloodshot eyes, digging her nails into Adam's cast by her side. And the man himself... Huh, he understood, too.

Seeing as he really wanted to get away from here, Kiana almost pitied him, before reminding herself that it was his fault in the first place. So come, man up!

"Girls? I didn't expect you today, why are you here? And... Adam, what's with your look? A weird cosplay theme, are you a mummy?"

"What's with your outfit?! Why are you... Wearing it?" - Mei intervened, not that Adam objected with barely any leeway to even nod or else.
