I slammed my phone down on my bed and shoved my face into my pillow. KK looked up from where she was sitting on the floor, talking to the live.

"STOP telling them about my love life," I shouted from where my face was mushed into my pillow.
Gigi had just posted pictures of her at a pride parade with her Iowa friends on instagram. The way the sun hit her skin... Man I fucked up. How did I think I was ever straight?
She probably has a girlfriend now anyways, I missed my shot. Probably Caitlin or Molly or someone from the team, since she hangs around them so much.
I left the room just then, because I didn't need the live to see any more of my pity party.
I reopened my phone and stared at the post. My finger hovered over the like button before I clicked it and threw my phone across the room.
"What was that?" KK shouted from the bedroom.
"Nothing!"
I picked up my phone from the phone and went to text my sister.

As much as I hate to admit it, she's right. I should talk to Gigi when we go to Iowa.
The thought of that made me nervous for some reason. How did me and her go from cuddling each other to sleep every night freshman year to being scared to have one conversation?

I reopened instagram, still staring at the one picture in her post. Maybe I should post something, just to see if she likes it. I have too many followers to pay attention usually, but if I looked out for it on this one post...
