A voice came its of my boss cum my fake boyfriend cum khadoos "Yeah, she does have a boyfriend."

His statement caught me off guard, and I could feel the tension rise between Saumil and Daksh. It was clear Saumil was trying to protect me, but his actions only added to my confusion about the situation unfolding before me.

his POV:

As soon as I reached near Daksh and Divyanshi, I heard him say, "Do you have a boyfriend?"

I don't know what came over me, but I instinctively put my hand on her waist and replied, "Yeah, she does have a boyfriend."

Daksh asked, "Oh, so where is he?"

"He is standing right beside her and in front of you," I answered firmly.

Daksh chuckled, "Ha, nice joke."

"Do I look like I'm joking?" I retorted.

Daksh nodded, "Oh, okay bro, chill."

I glanced at Divyanshi, who still looked shocked, and said, "We need to go."

As we walked away, I couldn't help but notice her apparent confusion so I  politely dismissed Daksh, saying, "Please excuse us, Mr. Singhaniya."

Daksh casually replied, "Sure, bye Divyanshi."

In my mind, I couldn't help but wonder, "What the heck, why did he call her by her name? I don't even call her by her name."

Divyanshi cheerfully said goodbye, "Bye, Daksh."

Her response intrigued me, and I found myself thinking, "Okay, what the actual fuck is going on between them? Why are they talking to each other so informally?"
As we continued walking, Divyanshi abruptly turned to me with a serious expression.

"Why did you lie?" she asked.

I was taken aback by her question. "Lie about what?" I replied, trying to gauge where this conversation was heading.

"About our relationship," she clarified, her voice tinged with concern.

I hesitated for a moment, weighing my words carefully. "Because I don't want Ritika to know our secret," I finally admitted, hoping she would understand my reasons.

I couldn't believe his own words as they spilled out in anger, "Because I don't want her to find out in any way."

Divyanshi snapped back at me, "Are you dumb? Do you have any idea how much this will affect our work?"Those words hit me hard, and in bitterness, I lashed out, "How will our work be affected by this? Or do you like Daksh?"

Divyanshi's fury was palpable as she responded, "You know what, Mr. Taragi? This may not affect your work or you, but it will affect me and my work. I don't want to be known as a slut. People may not say anything to you, but they surely will to me. I'll be seen as a PA who somehow seduced her boss to make him her boyfriend just for money. And about liking Daksh, why does it even bother you? It's my personal life! But how would you know? All you care about is yourself!"

As I stood there, regret and guilt flooded my mind. I could see Divyanshi trying to hold back tears, her emotions raw and hurt. Before I could utter an apology, she turned and left, leaving me stunned and remorseful.
