Now You See Me? ~ A Hyunlix Story

Chapter 3- Childishly

Felix walked through the halls lazily, ignoring his friend group that were supposedly talking to him. Felix had always been popular because of his wealthy background, especially in Australia where his adoptive father's company was well known.

Felix suddenly stopped walking, and all four of his friends Chan, Changbin, Seungmin, and I.N, bumped into him. I.N fell on the ground and groaned in pain. Felix sighed, "What are you, ducklings?"

Bang Chan helped I.N up saying, "You sound cranky today."

Seungmin said, "Even angels have bad days I guess."

Felix gritted his teeth and said, "My roommate is so annoying I wanna punch him. He's always nagging me as if he has any right to even talk to me."

Changbin perked up, "You mean that pretty boy with soft lips? How could you call him annoying?" Seungmin snorted, "Have you ever met him Changbin? You've only seen him in your classes, he has an attitude of a bitch."

I.N frowned and said, "Not true, but yes, he is annoying." Chan said, "What do you mean?" I.N said, "I went to high school with him, he used to treat me like a brother. It was annoying because bullies would pick on him and then try to target me too."

Felix shuddered, "I'm cringing right now. See you guys at lunch. I have psychology."

(A/N: My urge to write 'right now' as 'rn' is scary...)

Felix went to talk away, trying to hide from his friends, only to get run into by a boy, who fell on the floor. Felix was not an introvert, he loved his friends, but sometimes he liked to be left alone. Felix scowled at the boy and went to say something, only to get interrupted by Lee Know, who said, "Sorry Felix, this is Han... and he's really clumsy."

Han stood up with a pout and said, "I'm not clumsy, this guy was standing in my way." Lee Know rolled his eyes and said, "If you run into a wall, who's fault is it?" Han raised a brow, "Why would I run into a wall?"

Felix felt his previous frustration flared, he pushed through the two boys and stormed to his class.

Han said, rubbing his shoulder that Felix pushed, "What's his problem?" Lee Know grimaced, "He's usually not like that. Ignore him. Wanna skip class and go out?"

Han's cheeks turned red, "Whatever... Yeah... No. Yeah no." Lee Know blinked as Han sprinted away.

Bang Chan, who had just witnessed everything, tapped Lee Know's shoulder and said, "Time for class." Lee Know nodded, walking away with him.

Felix sat down in his seat and started reading through his psychology notes. He was really bored. He had already caught up with all his homework and assignments and had also studied in advance. Felix looked at the students entering the class and smirked when he saw Hyunjin. Felix looked around to see two seats empty, one seat beside him and another seat beside a girl at the back. He got up and walked at the back to the girl and started talking with her, making sure Hyunjin sits at the seat next to him.

Don't get him wrong, Felix hates Hyunjin, but he was bored. And today was Friday. He wanted to annoy someone, and he could only do that to one person, the only person who's seen his truly annoying side.

The class started and Felix sat back in his seat, noticing how Hyunjin immediately tensed up. Felix smirked. He looked at the book Hyunjin was reading, clearly borrowed from the school library.

Felix said, "You like psychology too?" Hyunjin didn't answer, assuming Felix was talking to someone else. Felix scowled and pinched Hyunjin's thigh, making him startle. "What's your problem?" Hyunjin asked.

Felix said, "Don't ignore me." Hyunjin rolled his eyes, "Ok what do you want? Attenttion?" Felix scoffed, "No... you have longer fingers than me... my ring is stuck under that wooden thingy on the bench, can you reach for it?"

Hyunjin raised a brow, "My fingers are longer? How?" Felix kept his hand on Hyunjin's hand, "See, I've got tiny hands."

"Cute." Hyunjin mumbled. Felix's head snapped to him, "I'm sorry, what?" Hyunjin huffed and said, "I never saw a ring fall or you try to get it." Felix said, "What else do you think I was talking about to the girl in the back." Hyunjin laughed quietly, "She has longer fingers too?"

Felix frowned, "Get the ring or not, I don't care." Felix crossed his arms and went back to reading. Hyunjin huffed and looked down squinting his eyes, "I don't see any ring. How am I supposed to get something I can't see?"

Meanwhile Felix made sure to make enough scribbles on the book in time before Hyunjin could notice. Hyunjin raised a brow, "Felix?" Felix sighed, "Lemme look." Felix bent down to pretend to check for the ring, not knowing that Hyunjin had noticed Felix scribbling. Felix sat up and said with a smile, "Found it!"

Hyunjin said, "I can literally smell the permanent marker." Felix said, "Focus on the teacher before we get into trouble." Hyunjin shook his head, "Let's go down that way together." Hyunjin shouted, "Mr Daniels, please get this guy to shut up!" Felix shouted, "Ya! What do you mean?!"

Hyunjin said, "You ruined my library book!"

Felix shouted, "How so?"

"Out both of you!" Mr Daniels shouted. Hyunjin huffed and packed his stuff, barely concealing the smile after getting Felix called out. Nobody liked Hyunjin, so he already had advantage. Hyunjin skipped out of class while Felix fumed.

Admittedly, the most childish thing they had done till date.
