Chapter 14- Betrayal

Felix stared at the fridge shocked. Hyunjin's kitchen was practically empty. There was nothing in the drawers and fridge. Only a bunch of utensils in the drawers, and ice cubes in the freezer. 

Whenever Felix returned from a party or from his friends' dorm at midnight, Hyunjin would ask him if he ate. Hyunjin always made sure Felix ate his dinner, always saying that Hyunjin already ate. 

Part of Felix's mind said that Hyunjin was just an attention seeker but Felix pushed that thought aside. This was much more serious. Felix was certain that Hyunjin never stole any food from him, since Felix always kept tabs on his food as an eccentric habit.

Felix closed his eyes. Were Hyunjin's jobs that low paying? How much was the university's yearly fee again? Felix turned around and grabbed his phone, searching it up.

6100 dollars per month wasn't too much.

Right?

Felix hadn't even ever checked how much it costed. Were their dorms free? Did they come with the tuition fee?

Felix closed his eyes, and told himself, "Step out of your shoes Felix!"

Felix took a deep breath and decided to cook dinner for Hyunjin as well. Payment for Hyunjin helping him prepare for the psychology test.

Felix always thought in terms of business, and he hated it.

After a while, Felix had prepared seaweed soup for both of them. Felix had no idea if Hyunjin would like it.

Felix looked at the time. It had been half an hour since Hyunjin went to the bathroom.

Hyunjin came out of the bathroom before Felix could even think of calling him.

Hyunjin opened his closet. He needed to wear a hoodie over his long sleeved shirt. Rummaging through his collection of worn out clothes, Hyunjin sighed in frustration. He found a jacket though, which gave him some relief.

Putting on the small jacket, Hyunjin said, "Finished eating? Can we study now."

Felix frowned, "No, I just finished cooking. Come on, let's eat."

Hyunjin said, "I'm not hungry yet."

Felix said, "I cooked for both of us."

Hyunjin looked at Felix puzzled. "What? Why?" Hyunjin asked.

Felix said, "Payment in advance for you helping me prepare the psychology test. I hope you like it, it's seaweed soup."

Hyunjin smiled, "It's called Miyeok Guk." Felix rolled his eyes, "Yeah yeah, I don't need to know the Korean name."

Both of them sat down and started eating. Hyunjin ate half of it and groaned.

"What? Don't like it?" Felix asked looking up from his food.

Hyunjin shook his head and said with a pout, "It's really good, I wanna finish it but my stomach won't take more."

Felix chuckled and said without thinking, "I'll cook more often for you then."

"Really?" Hyunjin asked with a smile. Felix froze. He didn't mean to say that, but it was too late now. Hyunjin's eyes were literally sparkling.

Felix rolled his eyes at his slip up and said, "Yeah."

Hyunjin felt happy. Finally he could eat proper meals every once in a while instead of ice cubes.

Meanwhile, Lee Know and Han were watching a movie on the couch in their dorm. Han was eating popcorn while Lee know held him in his lap, peppering kisses on the back of his neck.
