Hyunjin was scanning items and the line kept getting longer. His legs hurt from standing so long and not haven eaten anything today.
Hyunjin smiled to himself when someone only had a packet of chocolates and a cold drink. Unlike other people who had twenty items each.
"Cash or credit?" He asked looking up at the customer. Hyunjin froze and stuttered, "M-moon-?"
Min Joon sighed in disappointment and said, "I told you to skip work today and come to me after getting your stuff."
Hyunjin said, "I want to work Min Joon. I don't care what you said. Cash or credit?"
Min Joon scowled at Hyunjin using his name instead of 'Moon' and said, "You're coming with me, or do I have to remind you what you did to your arms?"
Hyunjin gulped and whispered, "Mi- Moon, there's a line, people are waiting, please pay and leave."
Min Joon said, "Should I call your manager?"
Hyunjin's breath caught in his chest, "Ok ok, fine... Let me finish my shift and then I'll come with you."
Min Joon smiled, slamming a couple of notes on the counter, as he walked away saying, "Keep the change."
Min Joon sat not too far away from Hyunjin, keeping a sharp eye on him. Hyunjin didn't look up once.
As soon as his shift was over, he took off his apron and stood next to Min Joon. Min Joon was reading a magazine. Hyunjin shuffled awkwardly next to him and whispered, "Moon?"
Min Joon didn't budge. "Moon." Hyunjin said a little louder. Min Joon smirked and pulled Hyunjin down nect to him, resisting the urge to pull Hyunjin in his lap and said, "Now there's my cupcake."
Hyunjin fidgeted with his hands. Felix had invited him to spend the evening together. Looks like that won't happen anymore.
Hyunjin wasn't meant to have real friends. Hyunjin scoffed at the thought.

Min Joon walked out of the supermarket with Hyunjin trailing behind him. Hyunjin wanted nothing more than go home. But he felt so scared of Min Joon. As if he was hypnotised by him. Walking into a death trap just because Min Joon said so. He felt powerless.
Not to mention he was treating Hyunjin like a servant.
Hyunjin wasn't rich but did he have to rub it in?
Min Joon got in his car saying, "Sit in the passenger seat. I wanna hold your hand." Hyunjin felt a shiver go down his spine at the thought.
Hyunjin kept his hand on the door handle, ready to open it until he felt a small but firm hand pull his wrist away. Hyunjin reeled and turned on his heel to look at Felix.
Felix said, "Are you out of your mind?"
Min Joon stood out of his car and said, "Let my cupcake go, will you? He doesn't need you here when I've got him."
Felix scoffed, "Hyunjin said he'd be working here till 5, it's still 2. I don't think you've got him, you're just taking him."
Min Joon scoffed, "You think he wants to stick around you? Unlike you, I'm generous enough to shower him with money."
Felix glared at Min Joon, "Oh, so he's with you for money now? Everyone in our university is rich."
"Except for him. That must sting right? Street rat in the middle of rich kids. I have more money then you could ever have, I'm just helping him out!" Min Joon snapped.
Hyunjin watched them argue. Hyunjin was never looking for money. Was this how everyone saw him? A gold digger? Hyunjin looked down, giving up entirely. He felt like an object. Two men bargaining on who wants to buy it on auction.
He tuned out their argument after he heard Min Joon say, "Nobody cares about him like I do, you don't know him."
Care? Hyunjin would rather die.
Of course, Hyunjin didn't hear the part where Felix said that Hyunjin wasn't some toy. Where Felix said that Hyunjin had two jobs and wasn't looking for money. Where Felix realised in the middle of the argument that Hyunjin wasn't looking for attention either.
Where Felix realised why Hyunjin was following after whoever and wherever.
Hyunjin was distracting himself. From what? Felix still didn't know.
Eventually Min Joon drove off, Felix becoming quite intimidating with his deep voice.
Felix looked at Hyunjin, who was standing spaced out in the side. Felix carefully walked to him and kept jis hands on the taller's (but younger) shoulders.
Felix said softly, "Hyunjin?"
Hyunjin didn't respond.
Felix said, "I don't know about you, but I know life is messed up for you right now, let me help you."
Hyunjin kept staring off into space and Felix was getting a little worried. It was like Hyunjin had dissociated or something. Felix shook Hyunjin gently and sighed in relief when Hyunjin's eyes focused on Felix.
Felix said, "How are you younger but taller than me?"
Hyunjin stared at Felix blankly.
Felix said, "I need to buy heels at this point. And by heels I mean the extremely long ones girls wear."
Hyunjin chuckled. Felix let out a breath he didn't know he was holding hearing Hyunjin's chuckle. He didn't like Hyunjin or anything, he was just worried as a... considerate human being.
Felix said, "We are meeting up at Bang Chan's dorm. It's the biggest one. Can I take you there?"
Hyunjin blinked, still unable to process the question properly.
"Our dorm it is."
