Chapter 5: The Announcement

The next few days were busy, for both Julia and Oliver, as they were preparing for the a grand reveal of their own. However some have it worse than others. Julia has been feeling nauseous the past few days, ever since coming home from their trip.

She went to see a doctor, and well to her surprise, she was expecting. When she told her friends they were ecstatic, but to her it seemed too dangerous. She didnt want to involve the unborn child in this mess they're in.

So she decided to wait. She decided to not tell Oliver. But... it's not as simple as it may sound... Usually George would visit the Coven from time to time, giving reports on Oliver's plans. And him, having a wife and kid himself, started to suspect that something was off.

He pulled Julia to the side once and asked her directly about it.

"Julia, I'm a married man with two kids. I can tell if someone is expecting." He says

Julia sighed. She knew she can't hide it from someone like George who was experienced in this field.

"Fine. I am.. just don't tell Oliver..." She said

George raised an eyebrow but nodded.

"I understand. Protect that kid well, Mama Bear." He said with a smile as he walked away while placing a hand on her shoulder. Julia thanked George as they parted ways.

Julia returned to the Coven, and when she arrived they all turned to look at her. Julian walked up to her with a letter at hand. He gave it to her. Julia opened the letter and read it.

Dear Villagers of Cryzolite.

You have been formally invited to a momentous occasion that will be held at the village square, Thursday, afternoon. Your participation would be much appreciated.

Your Truly,
The Royal Council

"An invitation?" Julia asked

"We heard rumors that this Thursday the Prince will introduce us to his chosen wife." Julian said

"Wife? But— this wasn't part of the plan, Julian!" She exclaimed.

Julian sighed and walked towards her. He looked at her solemnly and hugged her. He soothed her as she started to sob.

"We didn't know about this, Julia we swear. It was a shock to us to when we heard about the rumors as well." Silvia said as she walked up to them.

"It's okay... It could be part of something bigger... who knows... but one thing's for sure... until the day comes where the current King's reign end, I will not allow Oliver to even look at this child." She said.

"But why? He's the Father." Ruby asked.

"It's for the child's safety Ruby..." Julia said with a smile.

.

Thursday came along fast. And everyone was gathered in the village square, Julia stood with the crowd, wearing her Shadow Bandits uniform, and a black mask instead of her violet one. Beside her was Julian who was wearinng the samd black mask as her.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, I thank you all for coming to this momentous occasion. I have a few things to address today. Firstly, the explosion of the Palace a few weeks ago. Unfortunately there were at least Thirty deaths that day, and don't worry, they all have been properly buried and sent back to their families. Secondly, Our Crown Prince, Oliver Killian, has finally chosen someone to rule beside him. Everyone Let me introduce to you the future Crown Princess, Princess Margarette." He said as a beautiful woman with long blonde hair and ocean blue eyes walked forward. She wore a gorgeous yellow gown embroidered with white and golden colored flowers.
