Travel days have always been very annoying in Novas sense only because everything seems to go wrong in the moment. Right now Nova and Paul are rushing around the airb&b because Paul has misplaced his airpods and his passport. After searching high and low Nova decided to search through pauls rucksack only to find them both in the hidden compartment.
After Novas little speech about remembering where everything is they were off to the airport. Since pauls rental car didn't come from the airport it was picked up the day before forcing the two to get an uber to the airport. Nova has never really liked flying she has always felt a little claustrophobic but she wouldnt tell anyone that. However as soon the two entered the airpot Paul could immediately tell something was off he knew better to not ask so after they got through security Paul decided to get nova some food and sweets he knew she would like for the flight.
He excused himself claiming to need the toilet as Nova sat outside of their gate waiting for their flight. Paul was deep in thought trying not to go overboard with all the snacks when a girl and her mother approached him, thinking it was a fan he sighed in relief when he felt the pen in this back pocket. As they approached Paul he had just made his way to the counter to get all of his things, he handed the cashier money and thanked him before leaving.
Only to be stopped in his place by the mother and daughter "hi I'm really sorry to bother you its just my daughter though you were cute and wanted to know if she could have your number maybe" the mother spoke to Paul with a lot of confidence as the daughter stood behind blushing slightly. Paul was shocked this was not what he had in mind "sorry i have a girlfriend, I'm not really comfortable with that" Paul replied his voice shaking not sure if he sounded legit "have a nice day though" he said quickly as he made his way out of the store.
