Meeting the Swifts

POV:TRAVIS

It had been a few days since my injury. I had to get back home tomorrow because my daughter Emmy had gotten sick. I'm glad Taylor accepted that I had a daughter and didn't leave like the other ones did when I told them.

Today we decided to meet her parents and brother before I would have to go back to KC. I was pretty nervous about what they will say.

"Babe are you ready?" Taylor came in the room and she seen me sitting down with my head down.

" Oh babe what's wrong?" She asked me as she sat next to me. " what if they don't like me" I said nervously.

"Baby they're going to love you I promise. And if they don't the only thing that matters is us and Emmy" she said trying to calm me down.

" You're right, thanks for making me feel better." I say as I give her a small kiss.

POV: TAYLOR

We arrived at my parent's house. I nocked on the door waiting for them to open it. Travis had been pretty nervous about meeting them and I can't blame him, if I had a kit at home sick and having to meet your girlfriend's parent's I would've be nervous too.

" Hey mom" I give her a quick hug and a kiss in the cheek. " Hey honey" She says.
" mom this is Travis, Travis this is my mom" Travis shakes my moms hand and gives her a side hug.

" Nice to meet u Ms. Swift" Travis says. " oh please call me Andrea, and it's nice meeting u to, Taylor talks about u all the time." I blushed a little.

" well you guys come in, your dad it's in the backyard with Austin." My mom says. I go outside and meet my dad and brother.

" Hey dad and Aus" I go up to them and give them each a hug. " Hey Tay" my dad says. " hey Teffy" my brother Austin says knowing I don't like being called that.

" Dad, Aus this is Travis" I say and they stare at him and give him a quick smile.

" Nice to meet you both" Travis says while shaking each of their hands.

" Nice to meet you, im a big fan of your brother and of course you, you're one of the best tight ends in the NFL" My brother Austin says and I rolled my eyes.

" I appreciate it, and I will tell my brother u said Hi, matter fact I will call him later so I can talk to him." He says and Austin dabs him up.

My dad comes closer to me while Trav and Austin talk about football and what not. " I like him Taylor, good choice" my dad says. I just smiled watching the three of them get along meanwhile, I tell Travis that I'm going inside.

" Seems like they're getting along" My mom says. " yes it looks like it is." I say looking over at them laughing. " Well Taylor you made a great choice, you know your dad and brother just want to look after you" I nod.

" but it looks like he won them over" we both laughed.

A few time goes by and Travis comes inside to check up on me. " You good Tay?" He asked. " Yes I'm fine. So how are u and Aus getting along" I smiled.

" pretty good, he's a nice guy" He smiles.

" Do u want to leave yet?" I asked him. " Tay we can leave whenever you want I'm fine" He smiles. " well we should start heading out since you have to leave tomorrow morning and check up on Emmy" I tell him and he nods.

We say bye to everyone and get in the car. " Trav they loved you" He smiles. " thanks for being so nice to them" I say. " Anything for u my love" he gives me a kiss. " I'm going to miss you for a week" I mumble against his lips. " me to" he says when I think about something.

" Hey how about you talk to your mom and Emmy about me tomorrow and I can fly in for KC and I can go to game you have the following week?" I asked him and he looks at me.

" you want to stay with me for two weeks?" He asks. " well I mean yeah, I'm off break on tour right now, so we should use the time we can spend together ." I say looking up at him.

" well I will love for u to come to KC and meet Emmy and my parents." We both smile and drive home.

POV: TRAVIS

It was the next day and it was time for me to head back to KC. Emmy was still sick and I as much as I didn't want to leave had to go take care of her. Emmy always becomes real clingy and only wants me when she's sick.

"Bye baby see later this week. I love you my love" I say while hugging her. " Bye Travis I promise I will see u if everything thing goes well and text me when u arrive." I kissed her.

We said our last goodbye. I kissed her and have her one last hug before heading out.
