A few days had passed, and Muichiro took care of Genya, he did the best he could to forget the awkward reaction he had, but he couldn't apologize. He found it hard.
Genya's condition got worse, he could've possibly broken something or.. twisted an organ, a lot could've happened.
Before this day, he never showed his pain, seeing him like this hurt his heart.
Before things got worse, Muichiro decided to take Genya to the Butterfly Mansion,
With the help of the Corps Members, Genya got carried over to the Mansion, where the experts awaited them.
''★Shinobu-chan!★''
-Muichiro said
''★Greetings, Tokito-kun!★''
-Shinobu swiftly replied
''★You called for us to check up on Genya and gather further information, right?★''
''★Right, even if he took what he needed to take the right ounces, the right times, how it was supposed to be.. it looks like to me that he's getting worse,
Recently he has been fainting and aching in pain★''
-Muichiro informs Shinobu
''★I see.. we'll let you know!★''
-Shinobu smiles before heading into the Mansion.
''★Tokito-kun..★''
''★Mhh?★''
''★Did anything happen? Like.. are you okay?★''

Muichiro was a bit perplexed by the sudden question, but he knew that even the smallest lie would be discovered immediately by her.
So he just told her what happened.
''★Is that so? You're still bleeding★''
~'•Another familiar voice speaks up•'~

It was Kanae, she overheard us.
''★Oh, Nee-san!★''
''★Hey Shino!★''
-The sisters greeted eachother
''★You planning on apologizing and take it up a notch?★''
-Kanae asks
''★I.. I'm not sure, possibly?★''
-Muichiro lightly speaks
''★Alright, so, when you feel like it, go for it!★''
''★YEAHH! we'll support you!★''
''★Thanks..★''
-Muichiro was a bit embarrassed but he was really thankful for the people he knew, especially them.
Shinobu's joy was real, and Kanae-san had the same smile, as always.
So light, yet full of sweetness.

Genya gets carried into another room, while Muichiro is left to wait.
The time was 5PM, he didn't know how much it would take them.
It felt like eternity, as if time slowed down! It was an infinite repeat of the same minute, just sitting there waiting for a response.
Only an hour passed and the time was 6PM, an hour was what felt like eternity! Muichiro began to wonder how long this is gonna take.
Half an hour passed, and he was starting to get anxious, the chirp of the birds outside calmed him a bit, but soon the calmness will fade away as more hours and hours passed.
It felt like an entire year, the time was now 11PM.
Muichiro didn't dare to go home, he wasn't capable in doing so.
He didn't have the strength, nor the unloyalty to leave his unconscious interest.
He slowly fell asleep around 11:45PM
He almost reached midnight.

The butterfly sisters finally were able to detect the problem, and both of them were expecting Muichiro at home, but no.
They both were surprised upon seeing Muichiro still waiting, he was leaning on the wall, sat down a wooden bench nearby, he had his arms crossed and he was looking down.
He looked really tired, he had eyebags.
The Butterfly sisters decided to carry him to a resting room with Genya.

~''°THE NEXT MORNING°''~

As the sun dipped below the horizon, painting the sky in hues of pink and orange,
Muichiro stood by the window, lost in thought. The events of the past few days swirled in his mind like a relentless storm. He glanced over at Genya, who lay resting on the futon, his breathing steady but still showing signs of pain. Muichiro's heart ached with guilt and confusion.

H

e turned his gaze back to the window, the cool evening breeze ruffling his hair. The hills below were a picture of tranquility, its inhabitants moving about their evening routines, oblivious to the turmoil within him. Muichiro sighed, knowing he couldn't avoid his feelings forever.
''★Muichiro,★''a soft voice interrupted his thoughts.

He turned to see Kanae standing in the doorway, her gentle smile, a comforting presence in the room. She had been a pillar of strength for him, always knowing when to offer support and when to give him space.

''★I see you woke up, yesterday you fell asleep on a bench here.
How are you and Genya?★''
she asked, stepping into the room.

''★He's resting, I'm fine, i guess..★'' Muichiro replied, his voice tinged with worry. ''★But I still feel like I should do more. He didn't think that i acknowledgd the fact that he was hurt★''
Kanae placed a reassuring hand on his shoulder.
''★You're doing everything you can. Sometimes, the best thing we can offer is our presence and care.★''
Muichiro nodded, but his thoughts remained heavy.
''★I... I still can't apologize properly, Kanae. I don't know why it's so hard.★''
Kanae's eyes softened with understanding. ''★Apologizing means acknowledging that we made a mistake, that we hurt someone. It's not easy, especially when we care deeply about the person.★''
Muichiro's gaze dropped to the floor. ''★But what if it's too late? What if he doesn't forgive me?★''

''★Forgiveness isn't something we can control,★''
Kanae said gently. ''★All we can do is be honest and sincere. The rest is up to them.★''

Muichiro swallowed hard, her words sinking in. He knew she was right, but it didn't make the task any less daunting. He glanced back at Genya, a pang of longing in his chest. He wanted to mend the rift between them, to ease the tension that had settled like a heavy fog.
As the room fell into a comfortable silence, a knock on the door broke the quiet. Shinobu entered, her sharp eyes assessing the situation with a quick glance.

''★How are you feeling, Muichiro?★'' she asked, her tone as brisk as ever.

''★Better,★'' Muichiro replied, grateful for her directness.

''★Good,★'' Shinobu said, moving to check on Genya.
''★He's recovering well. You both need to rest and take care of yourselves.★''

Muichiro watched as she tended to Genya, her movements precise and efficient. He admired her strength and dedication, qualities he aspired to embody. As Shinobu finished her examination, she turned to Muichiro with a rare, soft smile.

''★Take it one step at a time,★'' she advised. ''★You'll find the right moment to apologize.★''
-Shinobu calmly said, reassuring Muichiro.

Muichiro nodded, feeling a glimmer of hope. Maybe, just maybe, he could find the courage to bridge the gap between them.
The night deepened, and as the moon rose high in the sky, casting its silver light over the room, Muichiro sat by Genya's side.
The rhythmic sound of Genya's breathing was a balm to his troubled mind.
''★Genya,★'' Muichiro whispered, his voice barely audible ''★I.. I'm sorry★''

Though Genya remained unconscious, the act of voicing his apology, however small, felt like the first step toward healing. Muichiro took a deep breath, determination settling in his heart. He would find a way to make things right, no matter how long it took.
As the whisper's echo filled the room, Muichiro knew that the journey ahead would be more difficult, but he was ready to face it. For Genya, for himself.
