Stella laughed at something Becky said. She smiled over her shoulder, glancing at Cody.

It was the weekend. Meaning another house show. Thankfully Hunter cut her some slack this week and gave her the weekend off, but she was still required to be on the road. Raw was approaching soon, and Hell in A Cell that same weekend. The battle royal didn't go the way they planned, so now there was a triple threat on who would face Stella next. It was down between Becky, Bailey, and Liv. It may be shocking, but Liv and Stella never faced each other in a match. Not even in the royal rumble, they managed to avoid one other until one of them got eliminated first. Stella would be lying if she said she was nervous if Liv won. Not because of her skills. But she found it hard to compete in a match against just Liv Morgan, not Liv her friend but more like the sister she never had.

Cody had finished his match, he was walking back to his bus when he stopped in the middle of the hallway after seeing Stella's smile. Ever since their last flight all the guys had been teasing him about him and Stella. Despite him saying it was purely platonic, he still couldn't get past the fact that now that he looked at his best friend, it was different. And not a bad different. At least he didn't think so.

Stella smiled over her shoulder, and he may be seeing things, but her eyes lit up once she seen him. Becky finished up their conversation before disappearing, leaving the pair alone in the hallway.

"Hey!" Stella walked towards him.

His heart beat faster by the second, every step she took closer to him.

"Hi!" Cody said a little too excited. He coughed trying to cover it up.

"You looked so good out there." She hugged him.

"Thanks Stell," Cody smiled.

She had pulled back from the hug but his hands remained on either sides of her waist.

Stella didn't seem to mind as they've been in this situation plenty times before. She put her hand on top of his arms while they stared at each other.

Liv and Drew were walking together and turned the corner.

"Im gonna use the hotel gym tonight then–"

Liv pulled Drew back and peered through the corner of the wall.

"Okay what the hell?" Drew stumbled back, confused why the girl yanked him.

"Shut up!" Liv whispered.

Drew looked over Liv's head and his eyes widened.

"I like this top." Cody gently tugged the bottom of her shirt.

Stella was a little confused. She was in jeans and a simple white t shirt.

"Just a simple white tee." She pointed out.

"I know but it looks good on you." Cody chuckled nervously.

"Thank you." Stella smiled and grabbed his arm. "Come on, my bus is already at the hotel. Let's go!"

"Okay okay." Cody let her drag him along.

He'd go anywhere with her.

No in fact, he'd follow her.

Anywhere.

"Oh my god." Livs mouth was slightly ajar.

"See they look like a couple!" Drew whispered as he pointed at the pair walking out of the building.

To anyone looking, it definitely seemed like these two were together, in a relationship.

They walked hip to hip, Stella holding the inside of his arm while he occasionally held the small of her back if she wasn't holding onto him.
