Ch 10

*Jason's Pov*
I finished up packing. I shouldered my backpack and turned to Will who was finishing packing. School had a 2 week break so we all decided to go home. It's been 2 days since Percy and Annabeth's announcement. I was so happy for them!

"You ready to go?" I asked Will.

"Almost, but dude school has kicked my ass. I can't wait to go home and eat my mom's home-cooked meals. They were the most delicious meals I have ever ate. Even better then Nico's. Wait, please don't tell him I said that! Ugh this sweatshirt won't fit. Anyway I can't wait to see my siblings. Kayla and Austin are in high-school! Can you believe it! I'm so happy for them! Wait I'm rambling again. Sorry dude." He stopped.

I laughed, "All good, I have a boyfriend who rambles on and on so your fine."

He sighed out of relief. "Oh thank god."

I chuckled, "But I think ima tell Nico what you said." I joked.

"Wait please dont!" He turned and looked scared.

I pretended to think about it and shrugged. "I won't."

"Thank you!" He squeaked and grabbed his backpack. We headed out the door. I locked it and we slowly walked down the hallway. I got a notification on my phone and it was a text from my mom. Ugh.

Mom: I talked to your sister and she said you are still with that ugly elf. Me and your father will see you at the get together.

I sighed and put my phone on silent.

"Who was that?" Will asked.

"My mom." I responded. I told Will and Nico about my past cause they deserved to know. He looked sympathetic and hugged me.

"I'm here if you need anything." He pulled away.

"Thanks Will." I smiled lightly.

We got outside in the parking lot and I headed to Leo who was talking with Piper. Leo was jumping up and down with Piper and they were squealing about something.

"Do I want to know?" I asked as I walked up to them.

"No you can't know, it's bestie things." Piper responded.

"So I'm not your best friend?" I joked.

"Yeah your my boyfriend." Leo lightly punched my arm.

I rolled eyes.

"Come on Pipes!" Katie yelled. Piper waved goodbye to us and headed to Katie and Travis.

"You look paler then normal what happened?" Leo questioned.

"It's nothing." I faked a smile.

"You promised no lying so what is it?" Leo crossed his arms.

"Just my mom texted me." I said. "It's fine, but they will be there for the get together Sally is having."

"You got to be kidding me! I really want to kill your parents. No offense." He rolled his eyes.

"None taken but let's go." I suggested. He nodded.

After an hour we got to Poseidon's house.

I felt at home here. I smiled and Leo squeezed my hand.

"Come on superman, I need to see my siblings." He smiled at me. I laughed and walked up to the door. I knocked and after a minute Sally opened the door.

"Leo, Jason it's been so long." She hugged both of us.

"Hi Sally." I greeted.

"Hi Sally!" Leo said.

"Come in." She pulled away and headed back inside. Me and Leo followed and Nyssa came running up to Leo. She jumped and hugged him Leo dropped my hand and hugged her back.

"Omg I missed you Leo!" Nyssa squealed.

"I missed you too!" Leo said. They let go and Nyssa hugged me.

"Hi Jason." She smiled.

"Hey Nyssa!" I smiled back.

"Nyssa! Dad wants you!" Jake yelled. "Also hey Leo and Jason." Leo laughed. Nyssa sighed and ran to the living room. Me and Leo made our way to the living room and Esperzana bear hugged us. She pulled away after a minute and hit Leo on the head with a newspaper.

"¡Sin llamadas en seis meses! ¡Me tenías preocupado hijo!" She scolded.

"Sorry mamá." Leo hung his head.

I felt a tug at my pant leg and looked down. Harley smiled up at me.

"Hey little man." I picked him up.

"Hi Jason!" He smiled big.

"Favoritism." Leo grumbled at my side.

"Oh, hii Eo!" Harley waved.

"Yep favoritism." Leo sighed. Harley tilted his head and giggled.

"You ook funny." Harley pointed to Leo.

"Thanks Har." Leo said with sarcasm dripping his voice.

"You wecome!" He smiled again. "Now Jase can we pay!" He gave me the puppy dog eyes.

"Of course Harley." I smiled at him.

"Yay!" He put his hands up. I placed him on the ground and he pulled me by my finger to the other end of the living room.

*Leo's Pov*
I sighed as I watched my brother, my own flesh and blood, pick my boyfriend over me.

Soon Jason was surrounded by kids. Lacy, Piper's little sister, Annabeth's twin brothers, Tyson, and Estelle.

I scanned the huge living room and spotted Jake. He had a knee brace on, no surprise there. My dad and mom were talking with Apollo and Naomi.

"Leo." I heard a voice from behind me. It was low and very demanding. I turned and saw the two people I didn't want to see. Jason's parents.

"Hi Mrs and Mr. Grace." I forced a smile.

"We need to talk." Beryl said smiling like she was gonna kill me.
