Arthur POV

Six months have passed since Joanna's birth, and many things have happened, the most important of which is that the king has already begun to count his days before he dies. It seems that Corlys Velaryon was injured in one of his battles, and his brother Vaemond wants to rule instead of Rhaenyra's children. I learned from spies that both Rhaenyra and  The Vaemond are coming to Kings Landing to decide who will inherit the Driftmark

Now I was with Joanna in the garden, as Helaena had to go somewhere, which made me stay with Joanna, and I was playing with her while she was laughing, and then I saw something that I didn't like, as I saw my father, Daemon, walking with Rhaenyra, and it seemed that my father had noticed me, so we kept looking at each other.  Then he looked at Joanna and it made me automatically hold her tightly to me

Then Daemon said: Is this your daughter?

I said to him: Yes, it's

Daemon said: Can I carry her?

I was hesitant. I didn't want him to touch her. You still remember that night when he insulted you, but in the end I decided to give him Joanna, because in the end she is his granddaughter.

Daemon said: She is beautiful like your mother Joanna

I said to him angrily: Don't say my mother's name on your tongue

He nodded and I noticed a little sadness in his eyes and he gave me Joanna and I was going to go but Daemon said: You are still angry with me.

I said to him: Yes, and if you give me a chance now, I will stab you in the heart 

Then I left and went to my room. On my way, I saw Larys Strong. I never liked him. I always wanted to kill him. Then I entered the room and put Joanna on her bed. There was a blue dragon egg next to her, and then Helaena came.

She said: You seem tired

I told her: I didn't sleep well last night

Then we remained silent, looking at Joanna, until Helaena asked: Arthur, who do you think will inherit the driftmark?

I told her: They will be Rhaenyra's children

Helaena said: Why?

I said to her: For several reasons: First, Princess Rhaenys will not allow Vaemond to take the Driftmark, so she will support Rhaenyra, and the other reason will be the king who will support Rhaenyra and her children.

Helaena said: But my father can't even walk, how will he help her?

I said to her: The king will do anything for his lovely daughter, she is always his favorite

Helaena knew what I was saying, and it was true that their father never cared about them. She knew that Rhaenyra was her father's favorite

Then I said to her: Forget it now. How about we go for a little walk?

Helaena said anxiously: What about Joanna?

I told her: Don't worry about her, I have put the best guards to protect her and nothing will happen to her

I agreed, then we went for a walk. Hours had passed, and now I was looking at the moon until I heard the sound of footsteps

I said to him: I hope you have brought me something important, boy
