Both Mr. Oden and Andre were confused as they looked at the wall with nothing there, but Crystal's screams were getting louder and something brushed the hair out of her face.
Crystal: WHO ARE YOU?! BETTER QUESTION.. WHAT ARE YOU?
Oden: Whoa Crystal calm down!!!
The creature replied but only Crystal could hear it.
"I am a Shinigami. My name is Ryuk."
Crystal handed the notebook to Mr. Oden, then Andre so they can both see Ryuk. Both Mr. Oden and Andre screamed, but who wouldn't scream after seeing a death god? Having someone touch the death note or a piece of its paper makes them see it's Shinigami.
"Crystal. We need your help.'
"Huh? We?"
"Yes, I am sure you have heard of your teacher's death."
The room went silent. Oh no... The only teacher missing on Friday was Mrs. Bezich because she was sucked into that portal... She died?!
(Cue Mr. Oden's cries in the background)
"Go on.."
"We need you to help the police on our mission to find who
is doing these things... And we think Kira is behind this."
The room went silent again, this time Andre's jaw dropped open. They all knew what 'Kira' meant in Japanese. Killer.
Crystal: We're in.
Oden: WAIT WHAT IF HE KILLS US?
Andre: Who's the killer???
Ryuk: Follow me.
They all followed the Shinigami out of the lab, out of the house, into the car, and to NPA headquarters. When they entered, Ryuk had Mr. Oden tell the person at the desk the secret code. When he told the desk manager, he nodded and led them into a room below. Crystal couldn't wait to work with the most intricate detective in the world. He is known as L.
