Mituska, the current Gemstones Hashira, is currently meditating with the Buddha statue in her living room at the Gemstones Pillar Estate.

Despite the calmness of that night, the room feels very tense for her. As Mituska meditates with her eyes closed, her heart continues to beat fast still. She takes in another deep breath to see if it helps, but it didn't. It was hard for her to stay calm with everything happening so quickly, especially with the news of how the master will no longer be able to personally present himself in front of her or the other hashiras anymore due to his health declining too much.

She can't help but feel that something really bad is currently happening right now, but she can't pin point what it is exactly.

She opens her eyes looking over to the Buddha statue thinking. Ever since the news of Nezuko, a demon who has conquered the sun, came to her, she can't help but fear what the demons will be planing next. Or how many lives would be lost if they are not more careful now.

For the past few weeks, all the demon slayers have been working hard training under the other hashiras. Since Mitsuka is still a new hashira, she was told that she is not ready to train the other demon slayers yet, so for majority of the time she has just been keeping a distance and training hard herself.

And her training has paid off with her mastering her new sixth breathing form. She only prays that she doesn't have to use it though since it requires a lot out of her body.

Mitsuka touches her necklace while taking a couple more deep breaths trying to clam her heart. The necklace made her think of her family, who are rooting for her, and it did help her calm down a bit. She gently rubs the gemstone while thinking about her younger sister, Hasui. Until this day, Mitsuka still didn't quite understand what happened and how Hasui became a demon in the first place. It pains her heart that Hasui died at such a young age.

"She was only 17..."

Mitsuka speaks as she starts tapping the gemstone gently thinking with her eyes staring in the distance, "she should've continue living a happy life.. fall in love.. get married... and have children... be happy..."

She slowly looks over to the Buddha statue with sadness in her eyes as a smiling picture of Hasui flashes before her, "did I failed as a demons slayer? And... as a sister?... Did I failed you Hasui?..."

Mitsuka just sits there waiting for an answer knowing that it would never come.

That silence was quickly interrupted by a huge explosion coming from the direction of the master's mansion. Mitsuka's have never heard should a loud explosions before. It was as if it was meant to take out everything that is close by.

Mitsuka quickly turns to the direction of the explosion before making her way to one of her windows to see it. Her eyes widen in horror as her heart begins to feel like it's going to beat out of her chest. It was indeed coming from the master's mansion. The image of the master, his wife and their childrens came flashing before her eyes as she stares at the erupting flame.

"MASTER!"

In a panic, Mitsuka quickly grabs her sword and rush out of her estate. As quickly as she can run, she makes her way to the direction of the burning flame. Both her crow and muscle mouse follows her to the mansion.

"Please hang in there master! I am coming!"

Mituska continues to run, not stopping no matter how out of breath she is. As she gets closer, she could see the other hashiras already there and are engaging in the battle.

"No way- That's-"

Mitsuka's pupils got smaller and sharper as she is  now face to face with the most powerful demon of them all. The King of Demons himself, Muzan.

The day has finally come.

The day that she fears the most. The war between the demon slayers and demons have now come to this. Mitsuka shakes herself out of her trans and quickly reaches for her blade.

Before she could grab it. The sound of the Biwa can be heard as a door opens from under her.

"!?!!"

For the first time. She felt like she was falling away from the comforting reality that she knows. As she falls into the infinity castle, she looks up to see Hasui reaching out to her from the door.

Mitsuka tries to reach for Hasui's hand, but she couldn't touch them. They were too fair from eachother.

From the hands of the buddha and Hasui, Mitsuka was slowly falling into the unknown.
