||Amarylliz's POV||

After convincing Ted that the house was in fact warmer than her own body heat, Lizzie was able to close the front door behind him and his luggage. She turned and watched as he shrugged off his jacket, and shook his head to spray the melted snowflakes out of his hair. An uncomfortable, all consuming warmth spread from their stomach to their throat. Out of instinct, she lifted her hand to make sure she wasn't developing hives. They weren't. Before she could really dive into the questions she had, a trampling noise sounded from the staircase.

"Teddy Boy!! You made it!" Calypso exclaimed, bounding down the stairs, and very gracefully slid on the wooden floor in her socks.

"You! Lizzie almost just killed me because of you!" Ted exclaimed, almost losing his balance as Calypso slammed into him with a hug.

"Hey, I'm not in control of what Lizzie does, maybe you should have texted her more often, hmmm?" She retorts, mocking him as she lets go of him. He scoffs dramatically, and places his hand upon his chest in faux hurt.

"How dare you mock me! You told me you were going to tell her- and how do you know I didn't text her?"

Before Calypso could defend herself, Schlatt appeared from around the corner and drew all of the attention to him.

"Ted."

"Schlatt."

They stared at each other in dead silence, and it only stopped because Calypso groaned and turned on her heel from the both of them.

"You boys are obnoxious, C'mon Ted you're probably hungry. We probably have something for you around here."

"I am actually starving, I haven't eaten since 4 in the morning." He responded, gently patting his stomach and following after her almost immediately.

Schlatt stayed where he was, because Lizzie was still stuck in the same place, looking down at her hand.

"You good, Liz?" Schlatt's voice startled them out of their trance.

"Hmm? No yeah. I'm fine. Why? Is there something wrong with me? Am I breaking out into hives?" She questioned, quickly switching her gaze between his expression and their own hand.

"Uh.. no? You're not? Are you sure you're alright, you seem so.. out of it." He asked, genuine concern lacing in his voice.

She dropped her hand to their side and plastered a smile on their face, "I'm fine! I swear. Stop acting all concerned, it's unnerving."

He scoffed and walked off towards the kitchen, leaving Lizzie alone in the entryway. Double checking their arms for hives, she pulls her sleeves down and follows him through the doorway. As she walked in, she saw Ted sitting at their table with a box of frosted flakes, and Calypso in their kitchen pulling out a bowl from the cabinet while ordering Schlatt to get the milk from the fridge. Ted glanced over at her and shot a grin her way before turning back to Calypso.

"Thanks, Clyps. I probably would have collapsed from hunger at any moment now." He grinned, preparing the cereal in front of him.

"You are so dramatic Ted it's actually insufferable." Schlatt groaned, leaning on the counter next to where Calypso was standing.

"Mhhh Schlatt I think you're just mad that Calypso is preparing me food and not you."

"Why would I be mad at that? You're too oblivious to have someone else make you food, so she has to do it."

Before Ted could respond, Calypso lightly smacked Schlatt over the head.

"Shut it, Schlatt. It's just polite to offer food."
