SYSTEM 696: LYLTIF [BL]

Arc 1.1 - System 696

[28%...  62%.... 88%... 97%... 100%... Host 003 has been bounded to system 696.]

"What?'' In a daze, he subconsciously asked.

[Greetings, Host 003. I am System 696 or better known as 'LYLTIF' System. LYLTIF is an abbreviation of Live Your Life To It's Fullest. Host 003 has been carefully picked to be System 696's Host and complete missions.]

"Wait... Hang on for a minute." Shen Mingyu said, trying to clear his mind as quickly as possible.

System 696 halted. It waited for its new Host to talk and tell it to continue.

Shen Mingyu took a deep breath and slowly calmed down. He rearranged everything in his mind and finally said after a while. "Okay, okay. Now you can continue to explain."

[To start off, The Host will need to go through Mission Worlds to collect System points. Mission Worlds are divided into rankings. The rankings go from ☆ to ☆☆☆☆☆. As the Host completes Mission Worlds, the difficulty will get higher. The Host's first Mission World will be ☆ as a default. The total of Mission Worlds the Host has to go through is 10 worlds. Two Mission Worlds for each star difficulty.

There are many benefits of being a host and accomplish missions. Those are including being able to have two wishes that will be granted, going back to the Host's home world, etc. Earning points is the way for hosts to trade to other hosts and purchase from the System Store. System Points is the only currency that can be used to trade or buy. There is also Experience Points which is used to level up. The Host has to acquire SE or Spiritual Energy to be able to go back to their world. In order to acquire SE, the Host will need to complete a few side tasks which has the wishes of Original Soul of the body Host will be transmigrating into. It depends on how large the Host's wishes are and the system estimates how much System Points will be needed to grant the Host's wishes.

The Host can also harvest World Energy from the Mission Worlds by unlocking or discovering a hidden mission. A hidden mission is a mission decided by the World Consciousness itself and the World Consciousness would be the one to pay the host for their service and not the system. Most of the time, World Energy would be given as payment/compensation.]

"What is the use of World Energy?"

[I've been told that the Host needs to find out by himself.] System 696 answered.

"I see. So, is that all?" He rubbed his throbbing temple. He absorbed all the  information he knew from System 696 and organised his thoughts regarding it.

[The Host has to pick two skills to learn before going to the Mission World. Here are the options the Host may pick from.

Cooking

Manners (Etiquette)

Acting

Singing

Music (Instruments + History of Music)

Medicine

Martial Arts

Knitting

Business

Computers (Hacking, IT)]

Seeing some options, it reminded Shen Mingyun of his family's upbringing of him. "I'll choose Business and Computers, please." Shen Mingyun decided.

[Sending the Host to the Training Centre...]

48 years later...

"Phew! Finally done with that." Shen Mingyun was exhausted from all the training he received.

[The Host has 96 hours to rest. Once the given time is up, the Host will be sent to the Tutorial Mission World immediately.]

A bed and nightstand magically appeared. On top of the nightstand was an alarm clock that has a countdown.

"Tutorial Mission World?'' He curiously asked the system.

[A new host will be transported to a Tutorial Mission World first before their actual Mission Worlds as to prevent the Host from running around headless in the Mission World. There, they would be given easy missions and in general would just train the Host for their first actual Mission World.]

Shen Mingyun nodded in understanding. He unelegantly plopped on the bed. He was tired and desperately needed some shut-eye.

Deep inside him, he felt a strange familiarity. He quickly put it on the back of his mind, knowing that there's no use of thinking when he doesn't have much clue.

Arc 1.1 is done! It's a short chapter, I know, but i'll try to make the following chapters longer!
