Tough love

confession.

You were walking enjoying the beautiful morning. It was still a bit dark due to bad weather, it seemed like it could rain anytime. And gladly you carry your umbrella. You had your earphones in listening to "Mystery of Love".

Today was the result of all the submissions. You are not so worried about the results since you know that you'll get the 1st position. Not to flex but you are sure this time. Heseok will be selected with no doubts and Taehyung and Suga too. Not to mention but yesterday was a tough one. You can't say that it was a bad day only because of that warm hug that Jungkook offered.

You come to school an hour early to meet Jungkook. He called you to meet today at the park near the school. You once went there with Suga after school to think about a gift for his mom.  It's a kinda small and cute park.

You know what he wants to talk about.

FLASHBACK:

"let's break up," you said while ignoring all the feelings you kept in your heart for Jungkook.

He looked more miserable than you.
His eyes were big and his eyebrows were frowned upon like he was still processing the thing.

"What?" He asked with the hope of hearing a no.

"I am tired of all of this. We should put an end to this" That's what you said while holding yourself from crying in front of him. But why it's hurting so much? Why? It's not like he is your boyfriend. Then why? Why does saying this breaks your heart? Like someone is tearing up your soul.

You were about to leave the room when he pulled you by your wrist. He caged you in between his hands. You keep looking at his shoes. You know he is fuming. Fuming because of the fire you set.
"Look at me!" He said more like an order. You didn't. For a moment you doubt if it was his voice. So hoarse and spitting venom.

"I said fuckin look at me!!" This time he shouted making you flinch. This was something very new for you. You never saw him like that. Is that the same bunny who happily jumped everywhere?

Steadly you keep your head up and look into his eyes. His eyes were red. With rage and hurt.

"What happened?" He asked being a little nice this time. You shook your head.

"Why do you want a breakup everything is going so perfectly. I have you, someone who loves me more than my grades and looks. And I love you with everything I have" He explained with the most delicate tone. Your heart skipped a beat for sure but did he confessd to you? Jeon Jungkook said that he loves you with everything. You froze.

"But...but...it was a lie you told to Rose so that she wouldn't bother you?" You gather your courage to ask for your clarity.

"Can't we keep on lying?" He asked with utmost plead in his voice.

"It's hurting me to be a part of this lie. So let's be honest. We are not together and that's the truth"  You finally said what you wanted to but not what's the truth. The truth is that you want to be his. You want to call him yours. You want to hold his hands. You want to share the ice cream. The truth is that you are dying to tell him that you love him. But Rose will keep on hurting both of you if you guys didn't stop.
