Five years ago Dayton High School needed a new English teacher. Daniel Kerry was doing the interviews. "I've been through all but one candidate." He turns to Joe Sop. "I don't think we're going to find someone who fits the job."
"Of course we'll find someone. Oh it looks like your last candidate is here, good luck." Joe Sop walked away.

"Hello. I'm here for the interview." Mr Harris began.
"Hello, you must be Richard Harris?" Mr Kerry greeted the other teacher at the door.
"I am yes."
"It's lovely to meet you, I'm Daniel Kerry."
"It's lovely to meet you too. Will you be interviewing me?"
"Indeed I will. Follow me please." Mr Kerry lead Mr Harris into another room where the interview will be held but he kept on hoping that this man will be the new English teacher. He couldn't help but have a good feeling about him.

Half an hour later the interview had ended. "It was very nice meeting you, Daniel. I hope to work with you soon." Mr Harris said with a kind smile.
"It was nice meeting you too. You made my last interview of the day very enjoyable. I hope you get the job." Mr Kerry genuinely meant his words hoping that soon he'll be working with this tall, handsome man.

Three weeks later it was Mr Harris' first day at the school. As he walked through the door he was greeted by a familiar face. "Mr Kerry!" He exclaimed as he saw him.
"Hello, Richard." Mr Kerry smiled. "I thought I'd give you a personal tour around the building before you get to your classroom."
"Why thank you, that's so considerate." Richard chuckled.
Daniel showed Richard around the building highlighting all of the places he'll need to know before they reach his classroom. "This one's yours, Richard."
"Why thank you, Daniel. Would you like to have lunch with me today?"
"I  would love to." Daniel Kerry smiled.
"Lovely. I'll see you then." Richard Harris smiled back.

The children at Dayton High school aren't the best students Richard Harris has ever taught but he'll make it work as long as he gets to see Daniel everyday.

At lunch time, 12pm, the two teacher met in the staff room. "Richard! How is your first day going?" Mr Kerry asked him.
"It's going very well actually, they're lovely kids aren't they?" Richard replied with a smile on his face.
"Are we talking about the same kids?" Daniel laughed. "Which classes have you taught?"
"9y2, 7x3 and 11y1 I think." Mr Harris tried to recall.
"That sounds about right. Did you have any trouble with a certain E.R in 9y2? Or N.P in 7x3?"
"Nope. They were all good as gold."
"Wow you must be good." Mr Kerry chuckled.
They ate in a comfortable silence for a few minutes. "What's that you're eating?" Mr Harris questioned.
"This? It's a chicken tikka wrap, they serve them downstairs." Daniel answered. "Want a bite?"
"Yeah sure." Richard leaned over and took a bite out of Mr Kerry's wrap. "Mmm this is nice."
Daniel chuckled, "thank our dinner ladies for that."
"This is starting to feel like a proper dinner date now we've done that." Richard laughed.
Daniel sat in awkward silence for a few minutes. "Richard...we need to keep things professional between us, plus I'm married...to a woman!"
"Oh I'm sorry...it was a bad joke I'm so sorry for making you feel uncomfortable, Daniel. I'm actually married too...it was just a stupid joke."
"No, Richard! I- it didn't make me feel uncomfortable...actually I'd quite like a dinner date with you..."
"But...your wife?" Richard stuttered, "my wife?"
"You're right...I'm being stupid." Daniel looks down embarrassed, "forget I said anything."
Richard looks at the time. "I've got to get back to my classroom now. This has been fun Daniel, let's do it again sometime." Mr Harris looks around the room making sure nobody's around before planting a quick kiss on Mr Kerry's cheek and running out of the room.
