A SIGH ESCAPES BUNNY'S LIPS as she tilts her head back, gasping for air in the small washroom of the cabin. Natalie's lips leave sloppy kisses down the girl's jaw and neck as her hand presses deeper into the girl, earning another pleased exhale from Bunny who is pressed against the washroom wall. The girl's fingers dig into Natalie's shirt, pulling her as close as possible. As the job is finished Natalie washes her hands and Bunny ties her hair up again.
The early morning hours have become the only time when the two teenagers get to be in each other's company fully. Natalie always leaves early in the morning and comes back when the night has already arrived. Every few days, Bunny gets to go mapping with the girl, but since the official hunting duties were passed upon Natalie and Travis last spring, Bunny isn't allowed to hunt with the two. Three people roaming the forest, when the temperatures are lethal was an idea everyone on the team rejected, except Natalie and Bunny of course.
"You're heading North-East today again?", Bunny asks, buttoning her shirt up again, before pulling her cardigan on.
Natalie glances over her shoulder at the girl as she dries her hands, "Yeah, probably. I'll have to take you mapping again soon, there's a lot of new territory we've found." Bunny nods as she watches the girl, her chest floating with worry as she realizes she once more has to let the girl go.
"Well, just be safe, okay?", Bunny asks, her face forming a small sad smile as she looks at the girl. Natalie turns around, her chest tightening as she stares at the younger blonde. She walks to the girl, bringing her hand up to her face as she kisses the girl softly. "Always", Natalie promises, her eyes filled with certainty and hope she only carries for that girl. Every day she comes back, it builds up the trust Bunny lacks for the world right now. Bunny nods as she leans in again, kissing the girl goodbye, "And don't do anything stupid" Natalie smiles as she caresses the girl's cheek softly, "You know I can't promise you that", the teasing tone makes Bunny roll her eyes, as she slaps the girl's arm softly. Natalie lets out a small chuckle as she plants a quick kiss on the girl's cheek one last time, before turning to leave.
"Nat", Bunny calls after the girl, and the older blonde stops. Bunny smiles softly as she shakes her head, "Just - let Lottie do her thing. For me, please?" Natalie stays quiet for a second before nodding. The girl leaves the washroom, leaving Bunny alone in the comfort of her presence.
Bunny stays near the wall, her eyes glued to the window as she listens to Natalie walk through the cabin, and stop by the front door - presumably for Lottie's blessing with Travis, before the two hunters leave the cabin. After a few moments of silence, Bunny exits the washroom, locking eyes with Lottie as she walks into the living room. The dark-haired prophet gives the girl a small tired smile as she asks, "Are you ready?" Bunny inhales sharply before nodding.
Lottie reaches her hand out for the girl to take, guiding the girl to the seat next to hers. As Bunny sits down and closes her eyes, the pressure of Lottie's hand on hers becomes more vibrant. Bunny grabs the makeshift blindfold from Lottie's hand, tying it around her head so her field of view grows dark. Lottie scoots away from the girl, as Bunny takes her space on the stool.
Like every morning before this one, Bunny starts to breathe deeply, counting her breaths down from 100 to zero. As she has taken her final breath, the world already seems more quiet. Lottie's presence is still clear, Bunny feels her warmth radiate next to her. "Focus on what you feel, what is It telling you." Lottie's voice is distant even though she is right next to the girl, Bunny nods as she keeps her eyes tightly shut.
"Are you ready?", Lottie asks, her eyes glued on the girl next to her. As Bunny nods again, Lottie stays quiet. It always takes a moment for Bunny to truly fall into the abyss, the state of relaxation Lottie suggested she needed to learn to make use of her gift to feel so deeply. As minutes flow by, Bunny feels herself grow more and more tired. Soon, her head tilts and the girl falls right into Lottie's arms.
