BUNNY'S HAND IS PRESSED AGAINST VAN'S CHEST. "Breathe again", Lottie orders, her eyes focused on the blonde as her eyes are squeezed closed tightly.
Bunny takes another deep breath in, focusing on the feeling that almost numbs her hand. A groan of frustration leaves her lips."Nothing?", Van asks, her brows lifting as she stares at the blonde.
"Nope. It's so weird, I swear I felt it again today with Tai... when she was screaming at Shauna", Bunny sighs, brushing her hand across her face as she shakes her head softly. Lottie is in deep thought as she stares at the girl, "Maybe the mediations aren't helping. Maybe we should try something else."
Bunny looks at the brunette with a desperate look plastered on her face, "Or maybe I just suck."
"I definitely saw you feel it today, with Tai. You seemed, like... pissed", Van tries to comfort the blonde, who shoots the redhead a grateful look. "Thanks, V", Bunny sighs. Lottie's brows furrow as she thinks, "Or maybe it doesn't want you to control it?"
"Or maybe I'm just weird and you guys are giving me way too much credit."
Lottie shakes her head, not understanding the clear playful undertone of Bunny's comment. Bunny looks at her friend, her mouth twisting slightly as she thinks about the possibility of Lottie's suggestion. "Lot's probably right", Van chimes in again.
The three are interrupted by Mari who walks into the living room, letting them know that they would be needing Lottie's help with carrying the body.
As Jackie's body is laid on the ground for all to see, Bunny has to look away. The things she would give to have Natalie by her side now, holding her tightly.
"Should we keep her clothes?", Akilah asks, her voice low as she speaks.
Everyone turns to look at the girl. "You wanna strip her naked?", Taissa asks in disbelief.
"I mean her jacket mostly", Akilah says and looks down at Jackie, "seems a shame to waste it."
"No one is taking Jackie's jacket", Shauna booms from the log she is sitting on. Bunny closes her eyes as she tries to keep her breathing calm. "Shauna, it's worth talking about", Van says. "No! We're not fucking debating whether Jackie gets to keep her clothes", Shauna snaps and stands up from the log, taking a few steps towards the circle that is surrounding Jackie.
"It's not like she needs them", Mari scoffs and crouches down to take Jackie's jacket off, but is pushed away by Shauna. "Now you wanna protect her? A little too late", Mari spits at the brunette, causing Bunny to shake her head her eyes still closed.
"I can't fucking do this", Bunny breathes out and turns around, storming back to the cabin away from the fight that lashed out between Shauna and Mari.
Bunny stays by the fireplace, her mind wandering into the dream she had earlier. She tries to make sense of it. Firstly, she must've been dreaming. Maybe she was dreaming about what her life would've been like if they hadn't crashed, where she would've ended up at. It seemed nice, her life seemed nice. But Natalie wasn't in it. That made Bunny think, if they hadn't crashed would she and Natalie still hate each other? And where was PJ in that dream? Was he alive?
Her mind starts to spiral as she stares into the flames. Lottie appears out of nowhere as she settles next to the girl. Bunny turns to look at the brunette who smiles at her friend softly, "Are you okay?" Bunny nods softly.
"Do you wanna try again?", Lottie asks. Bunny nods again.
After what feels like forever, Van comes inside and tells the two girls that they are now ready to burn Jackie's body.
