Hunt,chase.

Carlos stood by the coffee machine, pouring himself a much-needed cup of black coffee. The morning light filtered through the blinds, casting a soft glow on the conference room where his team was gathering. They were all tired, but determined to make progress on the case.

Carlos took a sip of his coffee, his mind already racing with the tasks ahead. As Astrid walked in, followed closely by Pierre and Sofia, he set his cup down and addressed the group.

"Alright, team. We've got a lot of ground to cover today. Let's divide the work and tackle this systematically."

He glanced at Astrid, who nodded in agreement. "Astrid and I will handle the interviews with the victims' families. We need to find out why they attended the Aurora Gala in Barcelona and if there were any specific reasons that could tie them to our suspect."

Carlos made a quick note on the whiteboard and continued, "Pierre, you and Sofia will dig deeper into the unusual behavior reports from the gala. We need to identify who these guests were and if they have any connections to our victims."

Pierre, who had been quietly observing the files, looked up and nodded. "We'll start with the event security footage and the guest list. There might be something we've missed."

Sofia added, "I'll also contact the event organizers to see if they have any additional reports or details that could help us."

Carlos looked at his team, feeling a surge of determination. "Let's get to it. The sooner we uncover these connections, the closer we'll be to solving this case."

As the team dispersed to their respective tasks, Carlos felt a sense of purpose. He knew they were getting closer to the truth, and he was ready to dig deeper, no matter how long it took.

Carlos adjusted his tie, feeling the weight of the day ahead. The morning sun was already climbing in the sky as he and Astrid prepared to leave for their first interview. They had a list of families to visit, each one holding potential keys to unlock the mystery behind the Aurora Gala.

He glanced at Astrid, who was reviewing the notes they had compiled. "Ready to go?" he asked, trying to sound more confident than he felt.

She nodded, tucking the notepad into her bag. "Let's do this."

Their first stop was the home of Maria Alvarez, the daughter of one of the victims. As they walked up the path to the front door, Carlos mentally rehearsed the questions they needed to ask.

Maria welcomed them in, her eyes red from recent tears. Carlos and Astrid sat down in the cozy living room, the weight of the task ahead pressing down on them.

Carlos began gently, "Maria, we know this is a difficult time for you. We appreciate you talking to us. We need to understand more about why your father attended the Aurora Gala in Barcelona. Was it a personal interest, business-related, or something else?"

Maria took a deep breath, her voice shaky. "My father... he was always interested in art. The gala was a big event in the art world. He was invited by a colleague, someone he knew from his gallery work."

Carlos nodded, noting the information. "Do you know if he had any unusual interactions or mentioned anyone who might have stood out at the gala?"
