April 28th (a week later from last chapter)
Nick's POV
I wake up next to Charlie. My hand was on his stomach like every night.
Charlie- "morning"
Nick- "good morning"
We share a kiss and go down stairs. We sit on the sofa and I open my phone. We I turned it on I noticed 5 calls from mum and a few texts. I call her back. She picked up after the second ring.
Sarah- "hi Nicky, I got news..."
She sounded panicked and stressed
Nick- "okay mum, everything okay?"
Sarah- "David and Stephan are coming today... I just found out..."
Nick- "WHO?!"
Sarah- "yeah... Dad said David has a fiancée and the are coming give us wedding invitations and meet his partner."
Nick-"okay, thanks for telling me"
Sarah- "they want to see you... The wedding is in 4 months. I didn't tell them about Charlie or the Baby."
Nick- "okay, I will get this over with... When, where and time"
Sarah- "they will be staying at my house they still think you live here. I told the nothing about your life. Come today at 3.30 pm."
Nick- "okay I will. Thank you mum. Talk to you later"
Sarah- "bye sweetheart!"
We hung up.
Charlie- "okay, you have 5 seconds to tell me what the fuck is going on."
Nick- "David is engaged and him and Stephan are in Kent. They are going to seelll and give us invitations to the wedding and we are gonna meet his fiancée. They have no idea about me and you or the baby or even us living together and-"
Charlie- "nick calm down! It's okay! Want me to come with you?"
Nick- "no it's okay. I don't want to stress you out. It's not good for you or the baby..."
Charlie- "you are right... Okay. But if you need anything call me and I will come."
Nick- "I will. You too. How did I get so lucky to have you in my life?"
He just picked my cheek
Charlie- "I love you"
Nick- "I love you"
We made breakfast and walked daisy but Ezra is too little so we took him in our arms. When we sat down we started talking.
Nick- "I can't wait till the time when we are gonna take walks like this with our little one in our arms and our dogs walking..."
Charlie- "me neither"
We walk back home and cook since the time was 2.30pm so I had 45 minutes left. I had to leave at 3.15. I really love my family and I don't care what anyone thinks. After eating and cleaning up was cuddled and watched movies. I am lucky training season's over for six months l. It ended on April and starts on October. Then thankfully we have Christmas off. I really hope our baby comes on early January or late December because I want to be at birth. I also want to be home the first weeks of their life. After some time the film ends and I have to get up and ready.
Nick- "okay baby, I have to go... I'll miss you..."
Charlie- "okay, good luck! I will miss you too!"
