~•Charlie's pov•~
We got ready and left. Lucky for us, Darcy works at this restaurant. I called them and they said that they will be there. We are going to go earlier just to catch up.We arrived and saw them. Elle, Tao and Tara were also there.
Elle- "hi guys! How are you doing?"
Charlie- "we are good! How about you?"
Elle- "we are great too. Tao took me out on a date. We just arrived."
Tara- "we were gonna make it double after Darcy finish their shift. Would you like to join us guys?"
Nick- "I wish. David, his fiancée, mum and Stephan are coming. In like half an hour."
Tao- "good luck!"
Nick and Charlie- "thanks"
Darcy- "wanna sit here until they are here?"
Charlie- "sure"
We all sit down and chat
Elle- "do they know about the baby?"
Nick- "nope"
Tara- "are you planning to tell them?
Nick- "no. Not yet."
We talked about it in the car and decided not to tell anyone.
Elle- "I feel like an asshole! How did the ultrasound appointment go?"
Charlie- "really good! I am three weeks. We booked another one in one week"
Tara- "did you get sonograms?"
Charlie- "yeah! Of course!"
I take my phone out and show them pictures
Tao-"how did you react when you found out?"
Nick- "We were really happy... "
We talk a bit more and then Darcy had to go back to their shift. It is 8.15. they should be here any moment now. I start shaking my leg a bit. Nick puts his hand on it.
Nick- "are you okay?"
Charlie- "yeah. Just nervous"
I cup his cheeks
Nick- "hey! It's okay! You have me. I will defend you no matter what!"
Charlie- "I love you!"
Nick- "I love you too baby"
We hug and pull away.
Tara- "do you have news guys?"
Tara Asks Tao and Elle. They share a look and say
Elle- "yeah, actually"
Charlie- "spill the tea"
Elle- "we are engaged!"
