THE THREE OF US (a heartstopper fanfic)

part 7 ~ babies and puppies

April 20th (still)

We get to the car and I start driving. I put my hand on his thigh. I have been on the wheel for 5 minutes and he brakes the silence.

Charlie- "how about we name him Ezra?"

Nick- "it's a cute name. Let's call him that."

I stop at a red light and kiss him and then his tiny bump. We arrived at the clinic. The receptionist recognized my name because I was born there.

We got called in by doctor Williams.

Williams- "hello! What are your names?"

Nick- "my name is nick nelson and his is Charlie spring"

William- "okay... Do you happen to be related to Sarah nelson?"

Nick- "actually, she's my mum"

Williams- "really? Tell her I say hello!"

Nick- "I will!"

Williams-"okay, shall we try to find the little one"

Charlie- "yeah... It is the thing we have been waiting for all day..."

Williams- "Okay Charlie, come sit in the bad for me, nick if you want take the chair to sit close to us."

I sit next to Char and hold his hand.

Williams- "okay, I found them... Seems like you are about 2 weeks so the pregnancy started in April"

I start to tear up while looking at the screen. Char did too.

Williams- "first baby?"

Charlie- "yeah"

Williams- "who would tell me, I delivered nick, now I am gonna deliver your baby."

5 minutes later she breaks the silence

Williams- "okay, we are done. Would you like the pictures printed?"

She said while handing char some paper

Charlie & Nick- "of course!"

We said at the same time

She brought us the pictures and we teared up again. After that we left the clinic. I opened the door for him. Before he got in he gave me a tight hug

Charlie- " I love you"

Nick- "I love you too"

We share a kiss and he gets into the car. I get in too and say

Nick- "shall we go get us a dog?"

Charlie- "let's go"

We arrived at the vet and go in.

Vet- "you want to adopt him?"

Charlie- "yeah!"

We sing papers and then the doctor speaks.

Vet- "okay, I will go get him."

He comes back giving him to us. We go to the local pet shop and pick some stuff up.

Nick- "shall we pay and go home?"

Charlie- "sure"

I pay and we go home. Before unlocking the door I say

Nick- "how do you think daisy will react to her new sibling?"

I say while petting him from chars arms. We wrapped him up in a blanket.

Charlie- "I don't know. Let's find out. Can you record?"
