Noah, Millie and Paul all head to Charlie's house along with the rest of the Cullen family and the wolves. "Do you think this has anything to do with Bella?" Millie asked them, "Hope fucking not - she needs to pay for what she's done and Jake is being a pain the ass." Paul said shaking his head as they pull up to Charlie's house.
As they walked in Millie instantly knew it was good news - "I bet you dad has proposed." Millie whispered to Noah and Paul who took it making Alice, Jasper and Kaiden smirk at the girl, of course she knew - and even more that she bet them because Noah and Paul can never turn down a bet.
In the kitchen Harlow couldn't stop smiling and Millie held her hand out to them and they begrudgingly gave her the money, "Thank you." Millie said smiling and smugly putting it in her purse.
"You cheated." Jasper whispered to her, "I don't know what you mean, Cowboy." Millie said but looked at him when he looked flustered - "Oh my God." Millie said than laughed so hard her stomach hurt, "Damn, Jasper. Didn't know you had a kink." she added when she finally calmed down.
"Shut up. Don't tell Noah - I won't hear the end of it." Jasper said, "I won't but one more question - who's the bottom?" she asked making him walk away making her laugh again knowing her answer.
"What's so funny?" Noah asked, "Hmm? Oh nothing - I saw Emmett bet Paul about something." Millie said keeping her promise but he knew she was lying - "Is that about Jasper and his Cowboy kink?" he whispered in her ear so no one could hear them, "How did you find out?" Millie asked, Noah shuddered before saying - "You don't want to know." and they joined everyone else in the living room.
"Congratulations dad!" Millie said hugging Charlie, "Thank you." he said hugging her back, "Some part of me wishes Bella was here but knowing her like I do now she probably would've put a knife in someone." he added making her look at him.
"Dad - it's not your fault. It's Renee's. She made Bella like this not you." Millie said and somehow Charlie felt like what she said was true because Bella went to go live with Renee whilst he had Millie.
"Anyway no negative - it's your engagement night, let's celebrate." She added and that's what they did - they enjoyed their night, laughing and Millie, the wolves ate half of the food after she bet Jared and Sam in an eating contest - Emily shook her head knowing they wouldn't back down.
"Sam is the winner!" Charlie said laughing, "Rematch." Jared said making everyone laugh but the happiness went sour when Jacob decided to make his appearance, "Well I can see you're having fun a daughter down." Jacob said glaring at Charlie making Millie, Noah, Paul and Harlow move closer to him - "Oh fuck off, I don't want him. I want you." he said pointing to Millie.
"About what?" Millie asked and told Edward to start recording in their minds which thankfully he listened to and secretly recorded, Jacob scoffed - "About what? You fucking joking? About Bella! Get her out of prison and we will disappear." he said and this caused Millie to scoff - "Is that what she told you? You'll disappear?" Millie asked, Jacob nodded.
"She was lying to you. Isabella doesn't want to disappear - she craves attention, drama and whatever involves her and if it doesn't she will make it so. Jacob, she doesn't care about you or anything you're doing for her. Why'd you think Phil left Renee? Why they aren't releasing her because of how dangerous she is." Millie said the truth and of course he didn't like that.
"You're lying! She loves me!" Jacob yelled, "She loves herself! She tried to kill Millie than lied about it. Jake - she isn't well and she's staying where she is." Charlie said, "You're supposed to be her father --" Millie cut Jacob off.
"And he is! But he is also mine and unfortunately it had to come with Bella being locked up because she is fucking insane! Get it through your head Jacob - she doesn't give a fuck about you even if she looked for one!" Millie yelled shutting up him, "Get off my dads property and never come back." she added and he gave one last look to them before leaving.
Harlow comforted Charlie as it was supposed to be a happy celebration but there is always one that had to ruin everything for selfish reasons or the right ones and in this case it's the wrong one, "Come on, let's get back to celebrating." Emily said walking out the house with more buns.
"Rematch!" Jared yelled and the events with Jacob was forgotten about for the night - "If she turns up at your wedding, can I at least slap her?" Kim asked Millie, "I'm not going to stop you." Millie said eating a burger and looked up to see Noah and Paul in their own world which she loved seeing, watching knowing that what Paul went through as a child - he is now loved, happy and will be anything for this mates and family.
"A toast! To dad and Harlow - may love be with you always and a wise old man once said to me, if love comes around grab it by the horns and don't let go. So dad I'm telling you this is your second chance at happiness and I cannot be more happier for you that's it's Harlow. To the happy couple!" Millie raised her glass and everyone followed.
"Old man?" Charlie asked smirking, "I'm not that old." he added when Billy Black came over, "I don't know about that Charlie - look at them grey hairs." he said making Harlow and Millie laugh at Charlie's face.
Some time later everyone left them alone to have some alone time but none of them knew that a certain someone was watching them.
