A man walked into the inn, and walked straight to the bar. Eight swords rest on his back, with the symbol of a golden skull on each.
"Would you like a drink?" The bartender asked.
"Yes. Give me ale."
A glass was brought to him, and he sipped.
"So, has there been any acts of piracy around?" The man asked.
"No, not here. We're such a small town no pirate cares of raiding us." He replied, then added, "Are you a bounty hunter or something?"
The man finished his glass, got up, and as he walked out of the inn, said, "No my friend, I am the King of Pirates!" And with that, walked out.

A boy awoke early that morning. Finding himself eager for the day. Mother and father left last night for the week, leaving him alone with some money allowing him to buy anything he desired! So, today, he would buy all different kinds of sweet fruits!
Getting out of bed, he dressed and rushed out the door, but in his haste, tripped and fell face first.
A man walked to him, knelt down and helped the boy up. "Don't be so hasty Tripp, or you shall hurt yourself!"
"Okay! Thanks for the help, Indigo!"
"You're welcome, boy."
Tripp rushed off after those words, and found himself in the beautiful shopping market! All things surrounded him. He smelled lavender, and saw all the weapon shops. Leather was being sold, but also pistols! He looked around with glee. He ran over to a man selling fruits, and bought apples, coconuts, mangos, bananas, and some berries. After that, he went to the butcher, and bought a beautiful chicken. Then, rushed over to a small bakery, buying a long piece of bread. He ended his spree with few coins left, but it didn't matter, he'd be fine for a week.
As he walked home, he noticed a small boat being tied on the town's docks. The man who owned the vessel was a well built man, but the most interesting thing was his eight swords on his back. Tripp walked over.
"Hello!" He shouted.
"Aye, boy!" The man replied.
"What are you doing here? With such a small boat, you must of not traveled far."
"It is a long story boy, I rather not waste your time."
"No," the boy said, "I insist on hearing. Come, follow me to my house, I have fresh mangos we can eat."
The man accepted and they walked towards the boys home.
"Mister, what is your name?" Tripp asked.
"I have no true name. As a boy I was abandoned, and had no name. All the children called me Skitt, because I was very good at acting and tricking. So, I went by that for a while, till I got a grand title, and I haven't been called Skitt in years." He paused, then added, "Now, here is my question, what is your name?"
"I'm Joseph Edward Phife the third, but people just call me Tripp."
"Well, Tripp, let us eat!"
Inside the house Tripp put all his groceries away, and set out three mangos. He cut them up and placed them in a bowl.
"So, Skitt, begin your story!" The boy asked eagerly.
"I am a pirate, and through my hard work, became a successful one. I had a grand crew, they were amazing men. The greatest swords-men and gun-men around. All had their unique skills. Recently, the monarchy of a country went after me, but I fought back. We beat them badly, then continued on our journey. A month later they attacked with huge forces, we weren't prepared. They beat us, and only I escaped. I found myself in a small city. With the few coins I had, bought a small boat, then sailed.
"I visited many places. But, the monarchy men found me again, and I about died. But, I escaped, and found my way here."
"You are a pirate!" The boy exclaimed, "Pirates are unlawful in this country, if you get caught, you'll be thrown in jail or killed!"
"It is a risk, indeed. But, I enjoy risk. They have brought me far."
The man reached for a piece of mango. "Never be afraid of risk, boy. Though you may get sadness from a risk, joy usually follows. Thrill and adventure await in risk. Do not live plain, do not live boring, live with risk and adventure!"
"I have always enjoyed, risk, too. They have far more enjoyable and exciting outcomes then doing nothing." Tripp said.
They finished the bowl of mango, and the boy sent the pirate on his way.
"Boy, I've been thinking, why does a filthy pirate me have a even eight swords? A pirate must have an uneven amount of weapons, here, take my blade!" The pirate pulled a blade from his back, and gave it to the boy. "Be careful with this, do not use it without thought. You must train and use it with precision, and one day, become a pirate!"
"Thank you, sir! Hopefully one day some one can teach me how to wield it."
"Hopefully, boy! Hopefully! Now, boy, good-bye!"
With that he left, and they never met again.
