"Silence is the answer sometimes."
For the next few weeks, the tension between Jeonghan and Yura persisted, creating a palpable strain in their relationship. Yura would leave for work early in the morning, long before Jeonghan woke up. By the time he returned home, she would already be asleep, leaving dinner ready for him on the dining table. Their interactions were limited to brief, cold exchanges, and the silence between them grew heavier with each passing day.
One morning, Yura woke up to an unusual, sweet fragrance filling the room. She opened her eyes and was stunned to find the entire bedroom decorated with flowers and balloons. The sight was breathtaking. She called out for Jeonghan, but he was nowhere to be found in the room.
Curiously, she stepped out into the living area and was greeted by even more flowers, their vibrant colours and delicate scents creating a mesmerizing atmosphere. On the dining table, a beautifully arranged breakfast awaited her.
As she stood there, taking in the scene, she felt arms wrap around her from behind. "Good morning, Angel," Jeonghan whispered softly in her ear.
Yura turned around to face him, her hands cupping his face. Tears welled up in her eyes as she looked at him, the tension of the past weeks momentarily melting away. Jeonghan leaned in and kissed her gently on the lips. "Let's eat, and then we'll talk," he said softly.
Yura nodded, unable to speak, overwhelmed by the gesture. They made their way to the dining table, and Jeonghan pulled out a chair for her, ensuring she was comfortable. He served her breakfast with a tenderness that made her heart ache, treating her with the care of someone handling something incredibly precious.
After they finished eating, Jeonghan reached across the table and took her hand in his. "Yura, I'm sorry," he began, his voice filled with genuine regret. "From now on, I promise I won't bring Jihye into our matters anymore."
Yura looked at him, her eyes searching his for sincerity. "Promise?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Jeonghan nodded earnestly. "Yes, I promise."
Yura felt a wave of relief wash over her. She leaned in and kissed him, a kiss filled with all the love and forgiveness she had been holding back.
Jeonghan responded with equal emotion, their connection feeling stronger than it had in a long time.
After their heartfelt reconciliation, they got ready for work. There was a renewed sense of hope and commitment between them as they prepared to face the day.
