Jungkook couldn't hear anything expect a constant ringing in his ear as he rushed to the hospital. His heart was beating fast with each step he took towards the emergency room. His eyes glistening with unshed tears. His parents rushed to him as they saw his vulnerable state.
"W-What happened to tae? " He asked looking at his parents.
"He wasn't feeling well today...He didn't listen when I told him I would drop him off...." yoongi said, looking down , thinking about the younger's state.
" He'll be okay son..." Mr Jeon said to comfort Jungkook who was on the edge of breaking down.
"please be okay... please..." Jungkook mumbled inaudibly, looking at the door.
Next few hours was a hell for the family. Doctors came outside with an unreadable expression.
"Jin Hyung, how's he?" Jungkook asked in panic.
" He's stable now.... don't worry Kook...but-" Jin's voice cracked , making everyone worry.
" Calm down , Kook...Does anyone knew about his condition?" Namjoon asked, looking at everyone.
"W-what condition?" Mrs.kim asked looking at Namjoon with teary eyes.Yoongi stayed silent while looking down.
"His heart is not in a good condition.....Although his heart condition is a concern, it's not the primary issue at the moment. he's at risk of developing amnesia due to the severe head trauma he sustained" Namjoon said, looking at Jungkook who is crying miserably.
" Don't worry... we'll try our best ...be strong for him" Namjoon said , patting on Jungkook's shoulder.

The next 48 hours were blur as everyone waited for Taehyung to open his eyes.
Jungkook's heart almost stopped when doctors rushed to Taehyung's room.
“ hyung!..What's going on? .... Is he...is he okay?” Jungkook asked frantically to Jin.
“ He is awake ...We're just running some tests....Calm down, kook ” Jin said as he walked towards the room. Jungkook felt relieved, hearing that.
“ Can I see him ?”
“you can.... come with me....”

“Can you tell me your name? ” Doctor asked Taehyung who frowned, looking at the doctors.
“Kim Taehyung ” He said weakly. The doctors looked at eachother in surprise.
“ Taehyung , Can you tell me your husband's name? ” This time Namjoon asked with an encouraging smile.
A searing pain pierced his chest when he heard that. He winced, feeling like he'd been punched in the gut. Tears pricked at the corners of his eyes as he looked at the strangers who has a panicked expression.
He felt like he is drowning in a sea of sorrow, unable to catch his breath. The sound of the machines became faint as he struggled to stop the pain.
“Tae.... listen to me..you need to calm down..” Namjoon said as he looked at younger's pained expression.
“ what's happening?” Jungkook asked as he enter the room with Jin. Jin and Jungkook ran towards taehyung.
“Tae,...Baby..can..can you hear me?” Jungkook asked as he saw the tears in the younger's eyes.
Confusion bloomed on Taehyung's face when he heard the familiar voice. His breath caught in his throat as he strained to process the familiar sound.
He looked at the owner of the sound in shock. His eyes locked with teary eyes of his love.
“ggukie...” Taehyung mumbled as his lips quivered with emotions.
Jungkook was taken aback, his eyes widening in surprise. Jin, Namjoon and the doctor looked at eachother in confusion.
“Taehyung... it's Jungkook... your husband...Can you remember him? ” Doctor asked him in calm voice.
Taehyung looked at Jungkook as if he fell into a trance. Jungkook took Taehyung's hand and gently kissed it.
“A-Are you r-really here?” Taehyung whispered, looking at Jungkook's eyes.
