Chapter 5

Days turned into weeks .....Jungkook stayed rooted in his place as he listened to the doctors. His puzzled mind couldn't understand what is happening to his husband even after he heard the explanation from the doctors.

His Taehyung only remember him as 'gukkie' ...not as him?

And Jimin was his enemy...what happened now ?  What changed?

Taehyung remembers Jin Hyung as his brother. But Tae hated him before the accident...now he is acting like a baby infront of his brother.

Taehyung doesn't remember anything or anyone except them. But he doesn't remember them as them at the same time.... it's complicated!!.... Jungkook doesn't know how to explain this situation.... He doesn't even understand anything.

“...ungkook....” Jungkook flinched when Namjoon called him.

“Hmm...?” Jungkook looked at Jin , Namjoon and the neurologist.

“Are you okay, Mr.Jeon?” The neurologist asked in concern.

“What do you mean by therapy..... and psychiatrist?! ... Taehyung is not crazy...” Jungkook said, making the doctor nod with a calm smile.

“Taehyung is not crazy .....I have the results of Taehyung's brain scans and tests... we didn't find any abnormalities or signs of brain damage. ...So his new strange behaviour and the selective amnesia might be related to his mental health.....That's why I suggested therapy sessions..." The doctor said to Jungkook who nodded hesitantly.

“What about his heart condition?” Jungkook asked, looking at the doctors.

“His heart condition is a concern...For now, continue the medication........ Handle him with care... And keep him calm and relaxed...”

Jungkook nodded with determination.

“It's important that Taehyung attends his scheduled appointments . so we can keep an eye on his health . If his condition doesn't respond to the  treatment, we may need to consider heart transplantation as an option. ” Namjoon said, looking at Jungkook.

“ h-heart Transplantation?” Jungkook asked in worry.

“ Don't worry Jungkook... he'll be okay...You have to take care of him...Jin will be there with you two if you want any help...” Namjoon said, placing his hand on Jungkook's shoulder.

“ Everything will be okay... Trust us” Jin said to Jungkook who nodded in response.

He came outside of the doctor's room , overwhelmed by the amount of information....and  Concerned about taehyung's health.

Taehyung's injuries are almost healed and he is well enough to be discharged today. Jungkook informed his parents and Taehyung's parents about the situation.

Taehyung doesn't remember his own parents. It was a  heartbreaking news for his parents, but they decided to give their son time to heal. They don't want to cause him stress, so they decided with a heavy heart to stay as strangers to his son .

Jungkook let out a sigh and walked towards Taehyung's room.

Taehyung's pov

Am I in a dream ? ... I don't know anything anymore. Everyone is behaving strangely. Their appearance is so strange...my gukkie always wear a black dress ..... Even this room is so strange...He said it is a hospital?....Am I in f-future? ...What is happening?

Argh...I miss my yeontan...

Taehyung's pov end

“Tae...Are you ready?” Jungkook asked, looking at Taehyung who is sitting on the bed, holding his clothes.

“Gukkie ...Is this mine ?” Taehyung asked, looking at Jungkook innocently.

“Yes baby .. it's yours...” Jungkook said , smiling fondly.

“I don't remember wearing this type of clothes” Taehyung mumbled, making Jungkook sigh .

“Do you not like it?...It was your favourite hoodie Tae”

“H-hoodiee...Ohh...Why  can't I remember it, gukkie? ”

Jungkook remained silent as he looked at his husband who is looking so innocent.

“ It's okay-”

“ Gukkie..Why can't you remember?...This is not the clothes I used to wear...” Taehyung said, looking at his husband.

“Hmm....wear this for now... I'll get you anything that makes you happy, Tae... ..okay? ” Jungkook said, making taehyung sigh.
He looked at the clothes and walked towards the bathroom to change.

Jungkook  packed everything and sat on the couch, waiting for his husband.

“gukkie.... Do i look funny in this?” Taehyung asked as he walked towards Jungkook who smiled.

“you look beautiful as always”  Jungkook said as he tenderly tucked a stray of  Taehyung's hair  behind his ear, his fingers grazing his skin. A soft blush crept across taehyung's face as he shyly smiled, looking down. 
Jungkook couldn't help but give him a kiss on his forehead.
