As Taehyung stepped out of the hospital, holding Jungkook's hands, the bright sunlight assaulted his eyes, leaving him bewildered. As he adjusted to the light, his eyes widened in shock. He couldn't believe what he is seeing.
Buildings stretched high into the sky, their peaks hidden in clouds. Strange things moving here and there.
What is this?
he wondered, his thoughts racing.
He felt like a stranger in a dream world. He grabbed Jungkook's hand tightly in fear.
"Tae...what happened?...Are you okay? " Jungkook asked in worry.
"Gukkie... I'm scared....w-what is all t-this?" Taehyung asked, hugging Jungkook, fear was evident in his face. Jungkook frowned and looked around in search of a possible threat...but he didn't find anything...He wrapped his arms around his scared husband.
"Tae...shh .. I'm here...I will protect you, love" Jungkook said, caressing taehyung's back in a comforting manner.
Suddenly , Jungkook's black car pulled up and stopped in front of them. Taehyung gazed at it in awe. The driver's side door opened, and the driver stepped out , smiling at them before loading their bags and other things into the trunk.
"gukkiee....w-what is this?" Taehyung asked, looking at the car in curiosity.
Jungkook know that Taehyung had lost all his memories...but he didn't expect this ..he forgot everything?...He felt bad for him.
He understandingly caressed Taehyung's head with a smile.
"This is a Car, baby.... We use this to travel" Jungkook explained, looking at Taehyung who is curiously looking at him with puppy eyes.
"Travel? ...It moves without the help of horses?!" Taehyung asked Jungkook , his eyes sparkles with curiosity.
"What?.... Horses?..You remember horses but not Cars? " Jungkook asked, looking at Taehyung who narrowed his eyes.
Ofcourse....it's selective amnesia...
Jungkook remembered doctor's words.
"gukkie....you forgot our Tannie...."Taehyung mumbled, avoiding Jungkook's gaze. But Jungkook heard that.
"Tannie is at home baby... don't you want to see him? " Jungkook asked, making Taehyung smile in happiness.
"Tannie? ... really?!..." Taehyung asked in excitement.
"yeah..." Jungkook smiled, looking at his smile.

Taehyung's curiosity got the best of him as he gazed at Jungkook's phone.
"What's this thing?" he asked, his voice laced with wonder.
Jungkook chuckled and began to gently stroke Taehyung's hair.
"It's a phone, Tae. We use it to call people"
Taehyung's eyes sparkled with amusement.
"Gukkiee..."
"Hmm?"
"Gukkie..."
"What is it, baby?"
Jungkook's face drew closer, his breath dancing across Taehyung's forehead.
" I called you without the help of this thing" Taehyung giggled and Jungkook let out a chuckle.
Driver who was hearing the conversation, smiled hearing the happy laughter of the couple. He was used to watching the couple fight always. Even though his heart ached for taehyung's condition, he felt happy, seeing the couple happy.
Soon, the car was filled with Taehyung's curious 'what's this?' 'what's that ' questions. Jungkook patiently answered each question, explaining things as if teaching a child. Finally, Taehyung fell asleep comfortably in Jungkook's lap. Jungkook leaned in and gently pecked his forehead.
As he drifted off to sleep in Jungkook's lap, his mind whispered a gentle realisation ..
.... I'm definitely in the future.....Am i?.....
