Aakriti's Pov
" Maa !" I engulf my mother in a warm hug.
My chest tightening as I feel her warmth.
How did I manage to live without it for so long.I felt the love and care and pain in the hug.
"How have you been, mera baccha" she asks with teary eyes.
"I missed you, maa" my voice broke as a lone tead escape and rolled down my cheeks.
"Ab bachon ko andar aane bhi dogi" My dad said from behind her.
(Will you let the kids come inside?)
My mom nods, standing aside to let me and Rishabh ji enter.
"Aakriti di!" I hear Yuvraj's voice as he ran towards me.
He bent down to touch Rishabh Ji's and mine feet.
I wrapped my arms around him, taking him in a warm hug.
He's my cousin brother but feel like own.
He pulls back and gave me a smile with all his teeth in view.
"Jijuuuuuu!" He then pulled Rishabh in a hug, making him chuckle.
"Aur saale sahab, sab khariyat?" Rishabh ji asks him.
(And brother in law, everything good?)
"Hamare liye kisi sundar ladki ka rishta lete aayeye, tab hi sab khairiyat hogi" He gives a cocky reply making me roll my eyes at him.
We all went inside to sit while my mother and chachi arranged snacks for us.
My mom was going super crazy on treating Rishabh ji like he is some Raja Maharaja.
I knew she'll just try to shower him with all her loving words and effort cause damand ji pehli baar aangna hein padhare.
They served us snacks which was way more than our stomach could take.
I wouldn't be able to have lunch if I eat all these.
My mom and chachi kept asking Rishabh ji if I was behaving decently or not and if I did the chores correctly and if I cooked good food and the list goes on.
Finally after lots of eating and talking, they allowed us to go in my room and rest for a bit.
I made a happy run towards my room, I missed the people here but I missed my room more.
"Careful Aakriti, you'll fall"Rishabh said while following me.
I just giggled in response.
I went in my room and plopped in my bed.
I finally felt being home.
I looked around my room which still had the decors.
Rishabh ji entered noticing how the room is decorated with artificial plants and show pieces and what not.
I was too dumb to follow a specific theme for my room, I just ended up putting whatever I liked.
But it didn't look bad.
"Your room looks so cozy" Rishabh ji commented joining me on the bed.
"Haina, it's my little home" I said smiling.
I stood up to change this attire, I had wore a red saree which was heavily embroidered and some heavy jewellery.
It was my mother in law order to wear as many jewellery as I could, cause this the first time I'm visiting my parental home after marriage and somehow me claded in gold and silver will raise her reputation.
