The next morning Isabella woke up at the sound of knocking coming from outside her door. She let out a tired groan as the door opened.

"Rough night?" her dad asked when he caught a glimpse of the dark bags under her eyes.

She let out a yawn. "Yeah something like that," she replied, rubbing her hands on her arms. Isabella had almost forgotten about what happened last night.

To the bite on her shoulder disappearing and her burn scars vanishing as well. Her racing thoughts had kept her up almost all night, then when she finally managed to close her eyes and get some sleep she was welcomed with a strange dream.

From what she remembered she could see Scott in the woods and when he looked towards her he ran away. Isabella tried to call him, but it was as if she was in someone else's body. Anytime she tried to move or stop running it never worked. She just kept chasing Scott until he disappeared over a fence, and then the knocking on her door woke her up.

"Had a weird night," she got out of bed and pulled some clothes out of her dresser for school.

"Hey listen, I know that I haven't been around much since you got here. But I just want you to know if there's anything you want to say or tell me I'm here," her dad said.

Isabella nodded. She knew she should tell him about the bite and the missing memories, but the bite was gone and without any proof, she doubted he'd believe her. And even if he did if Isabella told him she had another episode she knew her dad would probably lock her up and keep her in his sight at all times.

That's the last thing she wanted right now. Besides, as she mentioned the bite was gone and whatever beast she kept seeing was just a hallucination caused by the bite.

Granted, she still couldn't explain her missing memories and waking up after being covered in dry mud and blood, but regardless she didn't want to worry him.

"I'll keep that in mind when the time comes," she said.

She could tell he had something else he wanted to say, but he simply nodded and walked out of her room. "Oh, by the way, Stiles is downstairs waiting for you!" he called.

After getting ready she ran downstairs nearly tripping on her foot but catching herself at the last minute.

"Whoa, you okay?" Stiles asked running up to help her straighten up.

Isabella nodded and pulled her hair behind her ear. "Yeah, just came down too fast," fixing the backpack strap on her shoulder she walked around Stiles and into the kitchen, ignoring the tingling feeling she had when he touched her.

This was the second time he had held her and she felt like her entire body had lit on fire. And she liked the feeling.

     What was wrong with her?

"We- we should get going before we're late," clearing her throat and walking around him and to the front door.

     "Yeah, yup. Let's go."

They headed to the door before her dad stopped her and asked if she could hang on for a second. She turned to Stiles indicating that she'd meet him in the car, and with a goodbye to her dad he walked out.
