The next time I was visited, the whole council was there. I was confused and sat up, waiting to be addressed.
"Yugo," Nora looked to the side unsure as she talked, refusing to make eye contact with me, "You- how do I say this..? You kind of- uhm- kind of really messed up."
"Yeah, I know by now," I told her, sighing.
"I'm not talking about the whole castle incident, Yugo. You managed to infect yourself with a disease of some kind. Your wings aren't in good condition."
"What do you mean, 'not in good condition?'" I asked. Nora didn't reply, but looked to Efrim, who walked over with a mirror.
Holy shushu, what did I do....
My wings were bulging and streaked with red. I watched my eyes widened as I sat shocked.
"Yeah..." Nora sighed, "But we're here to try and figure out what to do to fix it. We haven't gotten far yet, though."
"O- oh..." I responded, staring at my feet. Efrim walked back over, and I gave the mirror back to him. Looking at the counsel for a second time, I suddenly noticed Adamai's absence. "Hey, where's Ad at?"
"He's in his room of the Eliatrope castle."
"Why isn't he here?"
"He couldn't bring himself to come. He's been reading through your past self's journal, and I don't think that it's doing any good for him."
"Oh, why not?"
"You were a bit... narcissistic, to say the least. Narcissistic and overdramatic."
"Really?"
"Yeah, it was always a problem throughout your past lives. This life is the only one that you haven't acted like that, though."
"Do you know why?"
"I think it has something to do with the fact that in every life but this one you were raised by Qilby."
"That checks out..." I said finally, a silence falling over the group. I heard a faint shouting. It took me a moment to realize that it was Adamai.
"I figured it out!" he shouted, waving a journal in the air, "He has some kind of Stasis corruption."
"I have what..?" I asked as he ran in front of the counsel.
"Don't worry about it, because it's about to change. Read this page," he dismissed me, seeming urgent. He gave the journal to Phearys, who read it thoughtfully. The group was silent as the book was passed around one by one. It seemed to take forever. After they were all done, Adamai led them out of the room.
I couldn't understand much through the door, but I knew that it was about the book, clearly. I began to feel tired and let myself fall asleep instead of listening for longer.

I woke up in a room that looked much like my room in Alibert's inn, but with a bit more of Eliatrope flare. I felt much less sore.
I could feel all of my limbs again, able to feel the loose casts around my arms and legs. I wondered how long it had been since I was in the hospital room with Xenlyr. The sheets on this bed were much softer than the ones in that room. I smiled.
My thoughts wandered off to what the condition of my wings were. I wondered if I could ask Adamai.
'Hey, Adamai?' I didn't get an immediate response.
'Oh, Yugo. OH. YUGO. Goddess, are you awake?'
'Yes?'
'Stay in your room, I'm coming.' Adamai said, cutting the connection. I sat, suddenly filled with a confused anticipation.
Adamai ran into the room not too long later and didn't hesitate to grab me into a tight hug, unusual for the dragon who didn't touch others much. I hugged him back.
"Hey, what happened?" I asked as the hug broke away.
"A lot," Adamai responded simply, "It's been the longest three weeks."
"Three... weeks?"
"Yeah," he said, laughing dryly. "You slept for a good three weeks."
"I don't think I've ever slept that long. What even happened to make me sleep that long?"
He took a deep breath in, explaining, "We found an old recipe that you had written in your journal in your past life, messing with stasis. You managed to effect your wakfu in such a way that it traveled into your dofus with the stasis and it hadn't presented itself until the castle incident. We used a counter form of the recipe and removed the stasis, but I slipped and pulled a lot of wakfu out with it. You just needed to sleep for a while to recover it. You should be fine now, except for you broken arm and leg."
"Wow, all of that?"
"Yeah."
"Past me really made my life hard and didn't try to fix it..."
"Let's not think about that maybe, Yugo."
"okay...."
"Anyway," Adamai said, attitude brightening, "I've got a whole castle to show you."
"How are you going to do that if I can't walk. I broke my leg, Ad."
"I don't know, maybe..." he trialed off, thinking. He suddenly smirked. He picked me up in a bridal style and carried me out of my room to show me what my life would be like from then on.
