"Well Regina.. how about we get on our way than"
"Alright" she says starting to stand on her one leg. She wraps her arm around his shoulder and starts to hop. They walk for a good half an hour making conversation. She learns that he has a son named Roland who is five and what marry men actually are. He learns about her mother ( although she leave out the part where she is a princess). She in the middle of explaining about how she feels for her father when they hear a guard yelling at them to stop.
"They are looking for me" he said quickly scooping up Regina in a wedding style fashion as he begins to sprint.
"Stop!!" The guard yells once more
"Why would they be looking for you?" Regina says staring over robins shoulder at the guard chasing them down.
"Well you know when I said I'm not a doctor?" He says out of breath
"Yeah?" She says inquiring more
"Well I'm actually a thief" he says still staring straight ahead.
"What?!" She asks her voice laced with shock.
" I'll would explain now but seems as we are being chased with no defense you won't get the full effect." He says sarcastically
"Use your bow!" She tells him seeing the guard catching up
"Shit I forgot" he says stoping and putting Regina down so she is laying on the path. She immediately sits up to see Robin shoot his arrow into the guards leg.
"There we go" he says picking Regina back up. They run for ten more minutes cutting through the forest till they decide it's safe to go at a slower pace.
"Care to explain now"
"Well it's quite simple I steal from the rich and give to the poor."
"So I imagine you consider yourself the poor" she says making air quotes with her one free hand.
"On the contrary milady I give to those who need it my marry men and I are well off exactly as we are. It is actually quite honorable" and that makes Regina scoff
"Yeah honorable" she says sarcastically under her breath which makes Robin stop in his tracks and turn to her.
"Excuse me but I believe that if I didn't have honor you would still be in that woods limping by yourself or perhaps on the road. I could have made my escape much faster with out you" he says with a lot of anger.
"You are the one with your arm around my shoulder and your hand on my chest and in less than a mile a bed in my home so I imagine that it will not make you friends to be questioning me integrity" he says as calmly as he can he never shouted but his voice did raise above its usual volume. Regina just looks at him with shook and guilt.
"I'm sorry" she says no louder than a whisper lowering her head submissively.
"It's okay" he says continuing their walk there is a brief moment of silence before he speaks up again.
"And I never said thank you for reminding me of my bow. I could have been killed very easily with out it."
"Your welcome" she says quietly about five minutes of silence pass before they arrive at a camp sight. A man comes up to them.
"How badly is she injured?" He asks with great concern. Regina automatically makes the assumption he is a teddy bear he is rather large but looks like he has a large heart with simply one question.
"Not bad enough to need immediate attention but she will be staying with us for a bit"
"Alright but Robin we don't have another tent."
"Of course we d.... oh right that storm about a month ago I forgot" he says with great concern. he turns to Regina
"Would you mind sleeping with me" he says with out a hint of joking in his voice.
"Excuse me?" She says offensed
"sorry I mean in the same tent because that's really your only option. Unless of course you would want to sleep with one of the other marry me.." he gets cut off
"No no staying with you is fine" she says with a quick smile
"But do you mind carrying me there because my leg is about to give out" she say staring into his eyes with a serious expression
"Of course... little john can you bring some herbs to my tent please?" He asks rearranging his attention while simultaneously changing his grip on Regina.
" Oh yeah sure thing." he says happily as he walks away. Robin carries Regina to his tent and lays her on a bed.
"Now let's fix this ankle" he says taking off Regina's shoe.
