Memories of you and me

The boy

After having dinner the boys took there tome showering I prepared my bed ready to go to sleep. As I dozed of sleeping forgetting that I would be sharing a room with the boys. After the boys finished having there shower Luffy was the one out first since he dint like water that much.

He entered the room peering inside he saw Yane curled up in a ball. A bed spread out he walked towards the cabinet. He pulled out a blanket though it took a much more pull for it to budge he tumbled the first few tries but soon was able to get it out.

Dragging it he drops it over Yane he looks back towards the door making sure that his brothers weren't there. He looks down at he he squats in front off her he brushes the hair that covers her face. He picks up a strand of her red hair he examines it, it reminds him of Shanks hair he missed Shanks but they made a promise with each other.

Luffy keeps on staring at her as she he inches closer as he stares at her she breathes slowly in and out on and out. "Luffy" he jumped as Ace landed on his back "what are you doing Luffy" Sabo questions Luffy tackles both his brothers as they go down Luffy has his arms wrapped around there mouths as he shushes them.

"Shh be quit or you'll wake Yane" the two look over at Yane who groans and shifts they nod as Luffy reluctantly let goes "what where you doing anyway Luffy" Luffy blushes as he thought over what he was going to do. What exactly was he planing to do.

He shrugs as the boys sigh tired from today and prepare for bed Luffy decides to sleep near Yane where she's turned towards him. It hasn't come to Luffy's mind that maybe he is attracted to Yane not even one bit. But his brothers seem to know as they sleep in their spots sniggering.

Morning came and Yane can't help but feel really warm, like really warm she opens her eyes to stare at Luffy. Even at a young age she has matured very much and can tell what there position are in. Of course Yane had to mature after all she lived in a ship full of pirates that get drunk twenty four seven and they start to talk gibberish not only that but also explain things to a five year old who should never have to learn what they talk about.

Yane slips away from Luffy's embrace instead heads for the bathroom. Once she was done she heads back to the room it was empty meaning that the boys went out. "I guess I'm going to explore the island as well" Yane mutters to her self. She knew it would be tricky to get away from these bandits. So what she does is make a run for it "Yane where do you think your going" Dadan screams I turn around just as she pokes her head out from a corner.

"Stop her" she screams I dodge hands that make a grab for me. They stand guarding the door shut I make a dive for the window at the same time dodging hands that grab at me. I dive right through it crashing down I poke my head inside once more "Dadan I'll be back I guess before dinner" I don't wait for her answer as I run straight for the forest.

I need to know my location I walk for a few minutes then climb the heights tree. I can see smoke about south from where I am so I head there jumping up on tree to tree since I find it easier to do so. I'm about half way I think since the last time I climbed the tree was few minutes ago I walk to a stream that glistens in the water.

I dip my hands in and splash my face it was cool against my heated skin it was nice that I want to dip my whole head in. Then again it would lead to my death I walk to a shady place where it was nice and shady spot away from the sun. As I sit against the tree relaxing I close my eyes for know I haven't seen anything but trees and animals that roam around the place. Haven't run into anything that's dangerous but I bet I will soon.

"Ah" I jump at they sound I instantly turn from relaxation to alertness I look around and the sound came again I walk around the tree to fund a kid about my age. He was bleeding and looked really pale he had the same hair color as me, red hair but his was pointing up and he wore a bandana across his forehead.

I walk over to him cautiously as I'm about a step away from him he opens his eyes I jump back frightened. He looks at me and I stare back at his eyes I look down at his bleeding stomach. I was taught that no matter what when you see someone in danger you go and help them no matter the consequence.

I drop down to him "it's okay I'm not going to hurt you I just want to help okay" I hold my hand up to show no sign that I'm going to hurt him. He nods, I inch closer I take his hand away from his wound pulling up his shirt I look at it. It needs to be bandaged up but no stitches I smile "your lucky looks like you won't need stitches but you need to be cleaned up" he doesn't say anything nods and just watched me.

"Come on" I grab his arm as I start to drag him towards where the stream of water is. I have to half drag him and cary him towards it he moans in pain "it's okay calm down where almost there" he doesn't say that much which worries me a little. I place him gently down on the soft grass "I'm going to take your shirt off okay" he doesn't say anything so I take that as a yes.

I pull his shirt up, he has his yes closed soaking the sun as I remove his stained shirt. I look at his condition. He was really thin that I could see his ribs. I curse he hasn't been eating well I press my hand against his head not only that he has a fever. Dammit "hey hey" I shake him awake he cracks an eye open "I'm going to get you some food okay so stay here" he nods a little.

I smile "don't worry I'll be back" I run out I need to find and animal or some fruit that's edible to be eaten.

And to the three brothers

The three brothers are right know eating fish well mostly like Ace and Sabo while Luffy sits there drooling over food. At last Sabo gives him the tail and he gets scolded by Ace. While they speak Yane comes bursting out from the trees the three are surprised to see her "Yane?" Luffy questions she looks at them as she's breathing hard "hi" she says as she drags with her self two huge fish as well as a basket of fruits.

The three are practically shocked to see her with that much food "Yane did you get all that" she nods "wow Yane you sure are good at food gathering" Sabo praises her. "Of course after all you need to know these types of things. You don't mind me borrowing your fire do you" she points to the fire.

"Go ahead" Sabo says Yane drops the bag fool of fruits while Ace stays quit watching her, Luffy is looking at her especially her food. Yane places the two big fish against the fire she blows on it to make it cook faster they all just sit there no talking to each other.

"Yane where are you taking that" Luffy questions as he drools over the fish Yane is surprised by the question that she takes a while to respond. "Oh um actually I'm eating all of it" the three boys look at her surprised "yeah right someone like you I don't think can finish all that" Ace accuses.

Yane turns at him sharply a little blush forms on her cheeks "yeah I can". Ace just snorts back as his response Sabo chuckles while Luffy stares at the fish hungrily even when he ate just a few minutes ago. Yane looked at Luffy then look at the portion of her food it's true she couldn't finish it but it wasn't for her.

Besides she couldn't carry all of this back to where he was, sighing she made up her decision "Luffy you want the other fish" he sits right up at the mention of fish. He nods his head Yane giggled he looked like an adorable dog "go ahead take it" Yane nodded to the fish.

Luffy looked at it "what about you" Yane shrugs her shoulders and points to the other one "I still have that". Luffy stares at the two fish then at the fruit of basket "aren't you going to share that with someone I mean the other fish" Yane was startled of course well maybe not.

Because these were two huge fish and Yane was thinking of preserving some of it for latter, and it was kinda scary how Luffy could be so accurate sometimes but doesn't realize it. Yane rubs the back of her laughing awkwardly she checks the fish and tells that it's done.

"Well I better get going" after wrapping it with some banana leaves so the smell doesn't attract any animals. Grabbing the fish and the basket of fruit she turns to the three leaving one more basket to them "you guys, can you take that back home tell Dadan it's a peace offering" Yane doesn't wait for there response as she's already on her way down to were the boy lay.
