...Wohoooo," Jessie J ended our little concert as we all gathered around the grand piano. Will.I.Am, Jessie, Tom Jones, Danny O'Donoghue and me. Ava Black. The new coaches for The Voice UK 2012.

Grinning widely at the crowd going crazy, we looked like deers caught in the headlight. It sure felt like it with several cameras in our face with the pressure of thousand pairs of eyes watching us behind it.

I bumped my fist against Wills as he held it out for me, smiling for real just once. But I'd be still glad when this was over.

As the lights went out around us, so did the tension in my body.

I sighed, almost in relief, taking a water bottle from a worker as we all made our way backstage to our rooms for last touch-ups.

"Yeah man, we rocked the crowd!" the obnoxious voice of none other than Irish-accent O'Donoghue exclaimed, high-fiving Will enthusiastically. I mentally rolled my eyes, turning back forward to face the way. I should really watch out with those high-heels.

I distinctly heard Jessie's laughter as a heavy arm suddenly dropped on my shoulder. Flinching, I snapped my head towards the intruder of my private space. Of course...

"So, Ava?" he said, ruffling his black hair with a boyish grin. "What do you think of our performance? I did great, right?"

I rolled my eyes again, shrugging off his arm as I walked faster. "It was nothing worth watching," I retorted bitingly, but he just laid his arm back on me.

"Well, if that's the case you should probably teach me how to do it right. Best at my place, you and I and no one else, hmm?" he leaned closer, too close for my comfort.

"Danny!"

"That's right, say my name," he smirked. Pervert.

I pushed him back to Will, who yelped in startle.

"You better back off, O'Donoghue!"

"Aw, come on you know you love me!"

I simply shot him a dark look, choosing to ignore him from now on.
