sophia stared out the window in the cafeteria, the music blaring from the gym sounding insufferable to her ears.

" i hate parties. " she muttered to herself, as she eyed the door to the gymnasium. she watched a certain figure walk through the door, and her expression lightened. who was the person in question?

finnigan. finnigan clark.

he used 'finn' for short, and he had beautiful blonde hair. bright, blue eyes that she could get lost in for days.. and his smile.. oh man, his smile gave her butterflies. she knew he bullied her, and basically hated her; but she couldnt help it. she loved him. but who in their right mind would go for the therian girl? nobody.

she sighed, looking away. she looked back down at her half-dranken kool-aid pouch and the bag of takis she bought there.  just as she did, finn and his friends walked over, scoffing as they looked at her.

"well well well.. the little puppy decided to show, hm?" finn snickered, slapping her kool-aid pouch out of the way, knocking it over.

"can you not, asshole?" she scowled, furrowing her brow at him.

"oh dearie me, the kitty-cats gonna bite me." he laughed, elbowing the guy next to him. "ya hear that philly? she's gettin' mad!"

phillip laughed and looked at her.

"careful, might have to call animal control on her," he giggled, as sophia growled.

"shut the fuck up, idiot." she spat, crossing her arms. finn merely smirked.

"and if i dont?"

"youre gonna wish you didnt fuck with me."

finn laughed and began to walk away.

"would LOVE to 'fight' you, or whatever, but ive gotta dance with my girlfriend." he called as he made his way to a table with girls, phillip and his friends following. a darker skinned boy looked at her before following.

"if i were you, i wouldnt take that, cat girl." he shrugged, before walking off.

sophia simply sighed in anger. this is why she didnt attend school dances. do quads ONCE at school, and your done. her attitude to teachers didnt help much either. she looked at the table finn walked to, just to see him and his girlfriend talking.

kaitlyn. kaitlyn todrick. finn's girlfriend, and possibly one of the most bitchiest girls she knew. her and amaya were always assholes. most of the other girls in her grade werent better either. not many kids accepted her, and even the ones who did distanced themselves from her. all she really wanted was for them to break up, so she could have finn to herself, but who was she kidding? that would never happen. never.

she stood up and sighed, turning to the direction of the bathroom. she walked to it and locked herself in a stall. luckily, no girls were in there. she sat for a few minutes, before deciding that she wanted to leave the dance. they wouldnt let her out before the dance ended, not without a slip from an adult. so, she devised a plan to climb out a window.
