Farwa and Amna ran straight home from the mall, and in fear, locked the door from the inside. Farwa sat on her bed, taking deep breaths.

Amna said after a while, You stay here, I'll get some water. Farwa nodded and said okay. After a bit, Amna brought water from the kitchen. They both drank water calmed themselves and looked at each other.

Farwa suddenly started looking around and said, Where is the novel I took? Amna said, Yeah where did it go? They both started searching. Then Farwa said, Oh no, I must have left it on the table at the mall in my hurry. What should I do now? I worked so hard to get it, and it slipped from my hands. Saying this, she hugged Amna and started crying.

Amna worriedly said, Stop crying, Farwa. I'll buy you that novel when I get my first salary. Let it go, we can't do anything now.

Farwa looking at her said, "Promise?" Amna said, "Promise." Farwa said, I shouldn't have argued with that man. If I hadn't argued, he wouldn't have followed us to the café.

Amna said, I told you not to argue, but you never listen to me. Anyway, he didn't look like a good man; he looked like a thug.

Farwa said, No when I saw him, he looked just like a mafia character from the books: tall, broad chest, cold eyes that make your hair stand on end, a deep voice that sends a wave of fear through your ears, fair skin that added to his attractiveness. He was just like that.

Amna said, Well if he was a mafia, then we are in trouble.

Farwa said, Don't worry. As soon as we get our salaries, we will leave this place and stay somewhere else. Until then, we'll be cautious wherever we go. Okay?

Amna said, Yes you're right, we will leave this place. Anyway, let's forget about this and make something to eat. I'm very hungry. Farwa said, What should we eat? There's nothing at home. We'll have to get something from outside. Amna said, But is it safe to go outside now? What if he tracks us down?

Farwa said, Relax, it's not that easy to get someone's information. You look in the fridge for some vegetables and cut them. I'll go out and get noodles, and we'll cook and eat that. We can buy other things later.

Amna said, Okay but listen come back soon and don't go too far. Farwa said, Okay.

Farwa changed her clothes, put on black pants and a black hoodie, and went outside. She told Amna to lock the door from the inside. Amna brought her phone and said, You almost forgot this. Farwa, taking the phone said, Ah, thank you, and put it in her pocket before leaving.

Farwa went to a grocery shop a little distance from home and asked the boy at the shop, bhai give me two packets of noodles and a bottle of cold drink. The boy at the shop replied, I'll give it to you right away.

From a distance, Shahzaib saw Farwa and couldn't take his eyes off her. He mumble to himself ,She looked very beautiful even in casual clothes. Her brown eyes made her look even more attractive.

Farwa was looking around. It was night, and the street lights were spreading their glow. There was hustle and bustle everywhere; people were out enjoying the cool breeze. The shopkeeper handed her the items and told her the price. Farwa took out money from her pocket, gave it to him, and started walking away.

Shahzaib, seeing her leave, got out of his car and began to follow her.

Farwa was busy scrolling through her phone and didn't notice her surroundings. When she reached home, she rang the doorbell. Amna quickly opened the door, and they both went inside and locked the door.

Shahzaib looked at the house and the surrounding area, then returned to his car and drove back to the villa.
