Shubman sat besides Dev after the whole fan girls incident.
Dev - saas lele do minute, mujhe tho tu haathiyo dwara kuchal denewala kaidi lag rah atha.
Shubman - Bakwas band kar aur bata, meri bhabhi kaha hai (teasing tone)
Dev pointed to the direction where Nidhi and Krish were sitting. Nidhi looked at Dev and blushed a little.
Shubman - abeyyy..... Bhabhi ki aakhain check karani padegi
Dev - kya??
Shubman - tujhe kaise pasand kiya unhone, vo to itni khubsoorat hai par tuuu.......
Dev just hit hum on his shoulder and Shubman was laughing but then his eyes spotted someone.
She was dressed in a peach outfit with her curly-hair left open. She was talking to Nidhi, her eyes expressing her excitement which she clearly didn't want to hold in.
"Navya" Shubman murmured.
"Ghurna band kar, ladki bhag jayegi" Dev said breaking Shubman's chain of thoughts.
Shubman looked away, he didn't realize he was staring.
"Main aata hu" he said trying to leave.
"Kaha? Rishte ki baat karne?" Dev teased.
"Nahi tere bacho ke naam tay karne" Shubman stated while Dev blushed.
"Ja ab, faltu ki baate mat kar" Dev said looking away and Shubman just laughed it out.
Shubman walked towards his dad in an attempt to calm down the storm inside his head.
"Nahi nahi, ye vo nahi hai, usne thodi na tteka le rakha ha ki jab bhi main kisi ceremony ke liye HYD aaunga to vo waha kadi hogi mere liye...............
Koi aur hain" Shubman tried to shake his thoughts off when he spotted his father.
Lakhwinder - itne kam time main arrangements ekdam sahi se karliya aap logone
Sanjay - Pallavi to bahot tension main thi, par Nidhi ki dost ne sab kuch sambhal liya.
"Inhi ki beti hai" he said while pointing to the man next to him who was talking to some other people.
"Suraj" Lakhwinder sounded surprised when he saw the man. Suraj turned back and was equally surprised.
"Lakhwinder" he smiled and they shook hands.
Sanjay - aap log jante ho ek dusre ko?
Suraj - haa, hum milay hai pehle.
Sanjay - acha, then you guys carry on, I will go receive the other guests.
Sanjay and Lakhwinder nodded while Sanjay left.
Shubman was watching all of this and couldn't help but think about the possibilities. What are the odds that she........

The rings were exchanged and everybody were now clicking pictures with the newly engaged couple.
Shubman walked up to Dev and waited for the photos to be clicked.
Dev - tu mere engagement ke liye aya hai ya ladki taadne.
Shubman - kya main kaha... main kaha taad raha tha.... I mean dekh raha tha.
Dev - tune hume dekha hi nahi hain pura time, bus usi ko dekh raha tha.
Shubman - Mai usse dekh raha tha, tho tu mujhe kyu dekh raha tha, tujhe to bhabhi ko dekna chahiye na...... bataou bhabhi ko.
Dev - Abey... fasa mat. Thujhe to main baad main dekh lunga.
Nidhi - aap dono kusur- pusur hi karoge ya photo ke liye smile bhi karoge?
Shubman - sorry bhabhi
After the pictures were clicked Shubman left for the others to join them, that was when Nidhi yelled "Navya yaar, bahot sambhal liya sab kuch, aaja tu bhi"
That was when Shubman froze for a moment as he saw the girl stand next to Nidhi with Suraj and Sindhu.
"It is you, I was right" Shubman murmured, as a huge grin covered his face as he couldn't contain his happiness.
But she didn't look at him.
"Pichli baar ki tarah aaj bhi muje nahi dekha, tho teek hain history ko repeat karthe hain" he thought to himself as he recalled the last time they had met, she didn't notice him back then so he whispered in her ears 'pani puri khane chale'.
Shubman smiled at the memory but he could not find a minute when she was alone. She was always busy. After a few minutes she was standing with her parents when an elderly couple went to them and started talking.
"Dikh nahi raha kya? Ladki interested nahi hain" Shubman murmured in frustration as his hands made a fist.
"Itna gussa" Shubman turned around to find Dev.
Shubman - tu yaha kya kar raha hain.
Dev - bhai, mera hi engagement hain
They were involved in a random conversation for about 10 minutes.
Shubman - tujhe bhabhi ke saath nahi rehna, mere peeche mandrata rehta hain har wakt.
Dev - rehna tho hain, par wo apne dost ke peeche bhaagi hain tho main tere paas timepass karne aagaya.
Shubman immediately turned to where Navya was standing earlier but she wasn't there.
Shubman - kaha gayi hain vo
Dev pointed towards Nidhi's room as he saw Shubman sprint in that direction.
"Hence proved, kuch kuch hone laga hain" Dev said to himself and walked away.

As soon as he reached near the room he already found Navya standing outside the room and was busy doing something on her phone.
"It's now or never" he thought to himself.
