Party Azzi goin crazy!!!

Paige's pov

I'm almost finished with my stupid assignment that's due tomorrow night. I've been working on it for probably like 2 hours now. I just want to be finished already so I can go hang out with the team. KK, Aubrey, Ice, Jana, and Kayla are all hanging out right now and they're being so loud I can't focus. I'ma speed run though so I can join them. I wish Azzi was here too but she went to that party with some of her other friends. It's pretty late though so she should be here soon enough. I asked her earlier if she needed a ride but she said one of the girls she was going with was going to drive her back to campus since its on the way to her house. 

It's been about an hour and I finally finished my assignment. Azzi still hasn't come back yet which is weird since she said she'd be home around 12. It's almost 1:30. She's probably just having fun with her friends. I don't know why I'm so worried, Azzi has always been able to handle herself. I'm going to text her, "Call me if you need anything." just in case but I'm sure she's fine. I'm gonna go join the girls finally. 

About 30 minutes after I texted Azzi she texted back, "Hey, can you call me?". I left the room and called Azzi to see what was wrong.

"Hey, you okay Az?"

"Hayyyy Paigey Paige, yeah I'm okay, but can you come and pick me upppp?"

She's definitely drunk right now. 

"Yeah of course, I'm on my way. What happened to the girl that was supposed to bring you home?"

"She left with some dick head guy like half an hour ago."

"Oh, well are you okay? Are you alone?"

"Nahh some of my friends I came with are still here."

"Okay, send me the address, I'll be there soon."

"Okayyyyyy, love you Paigeyyy. thank you for coming to pick me up."

"Love you too Azzi, don't drink any more alcohol okay?"

"Okay byyeeee."

After Azzi hangs up I hurry and put on my shoes and grab my keys. KK asked me where I was going. I said, "Party Azzi's going crazyyyy!!" making her laugh her wheezing laugh, which made me die in laughter even more.

I pull up to the address that Azzi sent me. This house is literally a 5 story mansion. Damn her friends are rich. I don't see Azzi anywhere outside so I go inside to look for her. I can't find her anywhere until I go to the third story and I see a girl with the same figure and hair as Azzi in a corner with a guy kind of trapping her. I start walking towards the girl to see if it is Azzi or not. It was. She definitely looks uncomfortable by this guy. He looks at least 6 feet with a medium build. I don't know why but I already don't like this guy. Something inside me feels the need to push him off of Azzi since she looks so uncomfortable so I hurry and walk towards them and push in between them Azzi, asking the guy,

"Hey, we all good here?"

The guy looks annoyed that I interrupted.

"We were kind of talking, do you mind?"

He pushes me away while saying that, cornering Azzi away from me again. I honestly have no idea what happened to me but I just got so mad after that. I push him full force to the side so he doesn't land on Azzi.

"Dude she obviously isn't into you stop being an asshole."

I say while reaching my hand out for Azzi's cheek and asking her if she's okay. She says yes and that she just wants to go. I put my arm around her shoulder and start helping her walk towards the front door to leave. Then, out of nowhere the guy punches me across the face with all of his strength. That was the worst disney awe punch ever. I think i've been hit harder by Drew. Everyone at the party starts gathering around us to see what is going on. He looks so mad and I wanted to beat his ass already for even looking at Azzi, but she kept telling me to just let it go. So I glare at him and grab Azzi by the waist to stabilize her as we walk away. I was actually going to let it go until I heard him say under his breath,

 "Yeah take your f*ggot girlfriend and get out of here."

I don't care if you push me, or punch or whatever, but saying anything even remotely as disrespectful to my princess as what he just did, you're dead. 

"What did you just call her?"

I say while turning around to face him.

"You heard me. Take your stupid f*aggot girlfriend, and get the fuck out."

Oh he is going to wish he didn't just say that. I use all of the power in my body and throw a punch right in the middle of his face. He stumbles a little bit grabbing at his now bloody nose in pain. He suddenly throws another punch to my mouth. My mouth starts bleeding everywhere from my teeth cutting the inside of my lips when he hit me. Tons of people who were gathered around started recording. I rub my chin and mouth for a second then punch him and kick him in the balls. He immediately falls to his knees and starts crying. That was way easier than I thought. I spit out the blood in my mouth and wipe it away before putting my arm back around Azzi's waist as we start leaving.

 Azzi's pov

The drive back to the dorms was silent. I wanted to hug Paige so bad after she fought that guy so he'd stop hitting on me. I've never seen her be so protective over me like that. Right now she's driving with one hand with the other one on on her thigh. Her mouth is red from the blood and she has some bruises forming on her cheek. She looks mad but I can't tell if she's mad at me or at what just happened or what. Finally she breaks the silents and asks me when the last time I ate was. I told her a couple hours ago and she asks me if I want to go get something to eat. I say yes of course, I would never turn down free food. After we get our food she pulls into a parking lot over a look out. We can see the entire city from here. The normal conversation starts flowing as usual. Paige says, 

"If it makes you feel any better, even with how wasted you are, you still look really good."

"If it makes you feel any better, even with how wasted I am, you still look really good"

I fire back trying to hide the fact that I was blushing.

"Thank you for standing up for me at the party, he was a real asshole."

I say looking down.

"Yeah of course, no one talks to my princess like that without feeling the wrath of these guns."

Paige said flexing, trying to cheer me up.

We both start laughing. I look up at her and we make eye contact. I sit there staring into her ocean eyes for God knows how long. I finally say something.

"Your princess?"

"Yeah I meant like, nevermind you know what I meant."

Paige said looking a little nervous.

"Yeah I know."

I catch her eyes again. She looks down at her hand but I can't take my eyes off of her. She's so beautiful, literally everything about her is perfect. In a quick motion, I risk everything and put my hand on the side of her cheek. I pull her face towards me and kiss her soft lips. I pull away a little bit remembering her lips are cut, and kissing her might hurt. I ask her,

"Is this okay?"

She responds with a soft nod and continues to kiss me.
