"(F/N)!!! Are you okay?" Percy's voice brings you back from wherever your mind went. Your vision comes back to find his face in yours. His hands are shaking you by the shoulders.
"I'm okay. What happened?"
"Y-your eyes went all black. (F/N), where are you from?" You look at him, shocked. 'My eyes turned black? How? I guess talking to Elden did it.'
"I'm from, well, the future." 'He's not going to believe me.'
"Of all things to say, you say that. Heh. That's suck a sad lie. (F/N), it's not a hard question. I'll give you a second chance, where are you from?" You exhale deeply and begin talking again.
"The future, just as I said. I believe I'm from about 130 years in the future. I'm-not-exactly sure why or how I'm but here I am. I'm not lying Percy. You have to believe me." He just stares at you with his mouth propped open. 'I guess he's shocked.' He removes his hands from your shoulders and steps back two feet. He slowly crosses his arms across his chest while his facial expression is washed of emotion.
"Prove it." These two words hit you hard. You close your eyes. 'How the hell am I going to 'prove it'? Elden! I need help.'
"Help? So you now call for me as you wish? I never granted you that." 'Oh please, I'm asking for help. It's the first time and I don't plan on making it a routine.'
"As you wish. What is it you wish for me to help with?" 'How do I prove that I'm from the future? Percy wants proof.'
"Tricky. I knew he would be a hard one to convince." 'Please tell me before he freaks out because I'm standing here with my eyes closed.'
"Patience. Tell him that you tell the future and the past. That way he is distracted as I think of a way to make him trust you. Tell him you know where he and his wife first met." 'O- kay...but where did they first meet?'
*exhale* "They met outside of the candy store here, in London. She was walking out of the store, minding her own business until she walked directly into him." 'Thank you Elden.'
"As you wish. I will contact you when I think of a solution." You open your eyes to see an impatient Percy. His expression is annoyed.
"I don't know exactly how to prove it to you but I can tell you something that proves I know the past and future."
"What?" He looks even more impatient as he lets his arms fall down to his sides. You look down at the ground because his glare is too strong for you.
"I know where you first met your wife." You look back up to see his eyes widen.
"How would you know? Emma doesn't even know."
"Exactly Percy. Now, I believe you two met outside of a candy store in this city. She ran into you and it was love at first sight." Tears form in his eyes as he bites his bottom lip. 'Oh no. He's gonna strip me of her clothes and send me onto the streets.'
"I believe you." He walks up to you and wraps his strong arms around you, pulling you into his chest. You snake your arms around his waist and squeeze him. He has accepted you. He begins shaking as he weeps. You shush him and rub your hand up and down his lower back. You listen to his energetic heartbeat slow down. Click. Click. Click. You separate from him and look at his bloodshot eyes with tears still slipping out. You grab his handkerchief out of his coat pocket and dab it under his eyes.
"I brought some tea, papa!" Emma yells as she nears the last stairs. You look over to the stairs to see her taking her time as she walked down with a platter. The platter held the white tea pot, two, beautifully colored tea cups, and a round dish with a lid.
